FLW Tour?
- Birdnesting a BC with fluero on it
^ This ^ Fluoro really isn't much different from other lines regarding backlashes and baitcasting gear. Same rules apply - don't go below 10lb unless you really know what you're doing, and take your time untangling backlashes (don't pull hard or "pick" at it). I like to spool my line on tight - to the point I can't get my fingernail into the spooled line. It helps reduce the severity of backlashes. Line conditioner helps sometimes, but it's not mandatory. I usually go without.- Win A Boatload of InvizX Line!
- New Flash Green Seaguar Smackdown
Well done! Glad you could get out.- Back-hand cast . I finally got it
This might help...- FLW CEO Irwin Jacobs and Wife Found Dead
It's a very sad day in the bass fishing community.... http://www.startribune.com/irwin-jacobs-wife-dead-in-murder-suicide-twin-cities-businessman/508373492/- Who do you thank ?
Thanks guys, that really means a lot to me. I appreciate it. I hire and manage the writer staff here at BassResource. I work with them individually on their content calendars that best suit their strengths. Tyler, for example, is a sonar/GPS/Navionics GURU! The man knows his stuff. So it made sense for him to share his knowledge here. Yes, it's work, but it's fun work! And your comments here make it all worthwhile. Thank you so much!- Plano Rustrictor Tackle Boxes
The brand new Plano Rustrictor tackle boxes prevent rust and corrosion on your tackle by infusing odorless rust protection directly into the boxes. I've held these, and tried to see if there was any kind of scent that could be detected....nope! And if you store it in your boat with your reels, they'll be protected too! Keep your prized lures, tackle, and reels looking like new with Rustrictor! https://www.planomolding.com/fishing/stowaway-utility-boxes/rustrictor-series- What baits do you wacky rig?
I use finesse worms.- At what weight is it harmful to hold bass vertically?
It needs to be reiterated that for bass under 3lbs, holding them at an angle by the jaw does not harm them. "Jacking" them by the jaw, dislocating them, causing mortal injury etc is in the context of 5+ lb fish only. And, it's also important to note, that injury is not a given. It's a possibility. They're not fragile glass dolls. Yes, you could damage the jaw, but that's not a common occurrence. It's insane how this topic has gone to extremes in the bass fishing community. It's seems nowadays any pic of somebody holding a bass is now attacked for killing the fish. LOL! Support the body if he's a big fish, otherwise take the pic and let him go to grow old.- hooking up the boat trailer
Can you post a picture of your trailer hitch? If you have the kind in the diagram above, be sure the lever is in the straight up position before lowering it onto the ball, then "close" it by move the lever in the horizontal position. Pictures would really help us here.- At what weight is it harmful to hold bass vertically?
You're fine up to about 3 lbs. Then you can either hold them completely vertical (no bent jaw), or cradle them horizontally. Here's a video with a 2 and 5 pounder I caught to demonstrate this:- FLW being sold to MLF (rumor)
Yes, I heard the same thing a few weeks ago. It makes sense. They need a magazine and feeder system. Plus the industry cannot support 3 major tours. This is actually a good move for the industry, and for competitors.- cast distance
I don't know. Bass fishing is about accuracy, not distance casting. So I never try to cast far.- The Christie Craw
The Christie Craw makes a tremendous jig trailer that catches monster fish. It's our go-to bait in the spring! https://www.yumbaits.com/yum-christie-craw- Rod & Reel Prices
I honestly don't care what anyone thinks about what gear I use based upon what it costs. Seriously, I don't value anyone's opinion on that. And if somebody wants to judge another based upon the price of the gear they use, they have bigger issues than I, and I feel sorry for them.- How to find bass...electronics or not? What do you do?
