I'll start with the good news. My father is recovering nicely. He still has a few weeks in acute care before he moves back to assisted living, but he's improving every day. It seems the surgery did the trick this time. On a very sad note, my brother-in-law unexpectedly passed away yesterday. One moment he was walking, then felt dizzy and collapsed. They couldn't revive him. My sister is a wreck, and that breaks my heart. We're all in shock.

It might get down to 28 tonight. It's supposed to be 41 and sunny tomorrow.
