  1. Well this game was over before the end of the first quarter. The Hawks are pathetic. Just when you think they were getting better, they revert to their old ways. Geno's been intercepted EVERY game this season (leads the NFL), and he's already been intercepted once, and it isn't even halftime yet. Let's see how many more he gets.
  2. Glad it wasn't something more serious. It will be nice to have that taken care of. Here's to a smooth procedure!
  3. Ok, it's SNF at Seattle. If you like drinking games, take a shot every time the broadcast plays a grunge song going into the break. You'll be drunk before halftime. LOL! Besides grunge, the Seattle area has produced other famous musicians such as Heart, Jimi Hedrix, Dave Matthews Band, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Macklemore, Sleater-Kinney, Queensryche, Quincy Jones, and yes...even Bing Crosby. But NOOOO! They gotta play grunge! LOL!
  4. We have a whole library of articles here: https://www.bassresource.com/seasonal-fishing-articles/Winter And a big library of winter videos here: https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/bass-fishing-winter Enjoy!

  6. UH OH!! https://www.dailysentinel.com/news/local/pro-fisherman-popular-youtuber-ben-milliken-charged-with-fishing-tournament-fraud/article_7a9d1efc-8fff-5ba1-94f7-b14520ec8879.html
  7. People are holding onto disposable income right now due to the looming economic uncertainty. In addition, businesses are being extremely conservative with their 2025 budgets right now because of the proposed tariffs. So it's no surprise the pawn shops are already feeling the hit, especially ones that specialize in collectables.
  8. The Luxxe rods (pronounced Look-see) are very popular in Japan. I had a chance to handle them when I was there last February at the Osaka Fishing Show. Very well-made and sensitive rods. Light too. I was told the travel versions are extremely popular due to the lack of storage space in most apartments and condos.
  9. These baits are perfect for fishing in the middle of the winter and catch plenty of bass every year. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/baits-cold-water-bass.html
  10. Some of you are beginning to see what it's like to live on the West Coast. It's virtually impossible to be a part of any major circuit. Can you imagine moving your family, finding a new job, house, etc just so you can fish tournaments? But that's what it takes.
  11. Havasu will be filled well in advance. West coast anglers are ignored by the big leagues, so they're hungry for any event, and will travel a full day or two to get there.
  12. Sounds like an "influencer" trying to sell Autopilot for kayaks. 🤣

  15. Don't look now...but the Seahawks won again. They went from 4-5 to 8-5, winning 4 straight after the break.
  16. I'm kinda fond of this...

  19. Well, I live in Washington, so I suppose I'm a coffee snob. LOL But...ya, I kinda am. Starbucks is the McDonald's of coffee. It's ok, but not great. Most restaurants don't make coffee strong enough for me, unless it's French pressed (I love French pressed coffee!) I like a strong cup of coffee. The kind that makes you see sound. So I grind my own. Every day. Boca Java is my preference. I like the "Light Up Las Olas" and "Espresso" blends, plus they make a dark, rich, smoky blend called "South Beach Rhythm" that I really like.
  20. Built for picking apart structure and associated cover, football jigs excel when the water temperature is at its extremes. Warm up your December bass fishing with one, scoring more and bigger bites with these four points. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/football-jig-december.html
  21. Electrofishing is the most common method fisheries biologists use to get as close to a random sample as possible in freshwater lakes and ponds. Here's all you need to know about it. https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/electrofishing-why.html
  22. What? You mean you don't have those in your neighborhood? And here I thought that was normal.
