Fishing jigs in grass?
Bama Craw would be my first choice.

New Video: December Baits!
It could be. It depends on depth, bottom composition, wind, and current. The general rule of thumb is to use as light a weight as possible. I've been known to use a 1/4oz jig in 50' of water when conditions permit.

Fishing jigs in grass?
Can't go wrong with dark colors in tannic water. Black/blue, junebug, and dark brown/orange are staples.

Whelp, the bumbling, stumbling, directionless and undisciplined Seahawks managed to pull one off.....because the Jets saw and raised them, setting the bar lower for a bumbling, stumbling, directionless and undisciplined NFL team. Both teams looked drunk.- What's the deal with Megastrike Fish Attractant ?

- 2025 plans
After attending 18 Classics, I'll skip it this year. But I will be at ICAST again (for the 19th time). It's part of my plan to travel less often. I know that sounds weird, but I flew 7 times in 8 months this year, and that's a tad more than I like. I have 4 trips planned already for 2025, so I'm limiting any more. I also plan on fishing more often. The wife doesn't fish but a few times a year now, and as much as I enjoy fishing alone, it'd be great to find a few folks who would like to join me.- Road To The Superbowl 2025
I'm not a Bears fan, but that last 35 seconds was inexcusable. It was amateur hour at the corner bar. He's not the only one that should have been fired. It takes a herd of sheep both on and off the field to make such a colossal mistake - not listening to the people saying "Hey, stop the clock!" is an epic fail. Anyone that didn't listen should be fired. If you can't play smart football, you don't belong in the NFL. That whole organization needs a complete overhaul. But not until December 27th....the day after the Seahawks play them.- The latest sale thread

Leaders are not required for bass fishing. Braid is not an all-purpose line. It's best for fishing heavy vegetation. Ergo, baitcasters can use fluorocarbon, mono, and co-polymer just fine. In fact, most of my reels are spooled with all fluorocarbon. These vids will help:- The latest sale thread

Well....there's one lake in Washington that has floating toilets. However there are no fines. They're just there for convenience since there are few parks/marinas. Most of the shoreline is private or native land. I'm holding out for the floating latte stands. LOL!- Road To The Superbowl 2025
Unlike other divisions, the NFC West is about as tight a race as it can get. It's looking like it will be a photo-finish. Geeze!- Rain gear
Whatever you get, ensure it's designed for fishing. Here's what a pair of Carhartt Storm Defender bibs did to a boat seat:- You Matter
I just learned the fishing community in my state has been hit again with another sudden loss. Without going into any details, I wanted to share a few helpful encouraging words in case you or someone you might know is struggling. Winter can be hard on us all, days are long and dark - especially for those who fish hard in the summer! If you or someone you know is struggling, here are a few resources that can help. If you’d like to add any resources that I might’ve missed, please add them in the comments. - Call OR text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline - The National Mental Health Hotline: (800) 662-HELP (4357) - National Alliance Mental Illness (NAMI): (800) 950-6264 OR Text Helpline to 62640 - CRISIS Text: Home to 741-741 - Road To The Superbowl 2025
