Importance of wind direction ?
Good reply Sam! On my home lake a bit of wind, especially during the day is a good thing, Fishing always seems better on those days than on mirror glass days. Also since it is a trolling motor only lake, a good light wind can really help you save your batteries with a good drift speed

Jitterbug question
5/8 ounce black Jitterbug is my favorite, Myth busters: Trailer hooks absolutely do not help and will pick up any floating snot weed they can I switched out the hooks, VMC's do fine but putting split rings on em. In the long run however I have caught just about the same amount of good fish as without doing this BEST WAY TO GET A SHORT STRIKER: Or even a swirl behind your moving bait. Is to have a second rod with trigged( Weightless) worm or you choice, throw it beyond where you gto the hit on the bug and work it right throurh that area, slowly.

Crankin' with Graphite
My best experience was with the Browning Silaflex with glass. I have to say after doing the whole thing a good med/fast 6'6" graphite rod ( for me a Cabelas Fish Eagle II I got on sale for 30 bucks) does the job just as weel, and a lot lighter and easier to cast

It looks like it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Now where is that Mook CATT? Glad everyone is OK

So I've read a lot on crankbaits, but still have one question...
EXCELLENT ADVISE: JUST DO IT! Thats how I learned. Keeping a steady retrieve hepls, and after a while you will learn how to pull them off and your bait loss will go down.

GYCB vs. Generic Senko's...
They all work for the most part, *** work and are more reasonablly priced.. and you get first class customer service. Fall rates can also be the function of mineral conent of the water, temprature and different pours, I mark slots in my boxes if i notice a batch slightly faster or slower, sometimes this can help you catch.

St. Croix rod problems
Actually Mike A : IWas was messing with you because of a post you put up about the Triumps not beibng made in Wisconsin > B; I am not the only angler with this problem with the Premiers, I have seen at least a dozen threads dealing with this issue in the last 2 years If they are going to charge the bucks they do, and put the Made in USA label on, then at least do it right and use some decent gudes. C: I tend not to follow the maasses and swim upstream against the current often. I am not one to hold my tounge about what many ohtwers seem as popular if I see something wrong with a product, especially one costing a 100 bucks. D: You can't fish with a warranty. I have never once , after many years of use had to take a Fenwick back. I broke one because I left it in a shaed that was demolished, I do not think that was their fault, I would rather have a rod that I didnt have to use a warranty for I did my own warranty deal, I gave them all away and went back to Fenwicks and Cabelas rods. E; Let's see what the thread topic is ST.CROIX ROD PROBLEMS and I made 6 comments on topic about the issue, next problem please ;D
