What spot?

First off I was late because we needed ice, and the Pocono 500 is close by, I had to go to 5 spots to get a bag of ice, he beat me by all of 1.5 minutes : I had a great day fishing with Speedbead, that swim bait was the bomb. I think the first big splash really catchs a fish's interest. We caught some good fish, had great conversation and both had a good time watching Officer Moron harass everyone he could. Especially when he picked on 2 little kids for swiming by the campgrounds, what a *#@@#* This guy is Anyway: Wayne is a geat guy to fish with, The Swim Baits and Rage Tails and the Boyaah Claker were pretty cool and it is always fun to watch a topwater bait get slammed! Thanks Speedbead, hope to do a night trip with you soon. WORD OF CAUTION: Unlike fishing with JIMZEE at night, on my boat pants must be worn at all times

I did notice that they made the President with two different rotor types. It's made different in how the bail is attached to it that is. I got one that is identical to the Trion but Bass Pro and Cabela's shows it with something entirely different. The tackle shop where I got mine at had both and I made sure I got the one I liked best. Wonder why they did that?? They changed them 2 years ago, some stores just have older pics of the product

Hey RW, I broke down today and fished some heavy pads with a Chubby Wayn( actually one was a genuine Ika : ) backwards hook up on a 4/0 EWG hook. Four fish, less than an hour, biggest around 3# and I caught em in Zel's spot on the lake. Speedbead spent the day with me fishing on Mauch Chunk lake, he will post pics and report. I promised you I would try them the (right way) and post my report so here it is T Rigged em. threw em ( Watermelon) right on the top of the last pad, let it slide off and deadsticked down; they never hit the bottom! They Work just fine as intended, but i will still use them also as a jig trailer

Good Pattern for me on lakes during and after heavy rains: One of the few times outside of late night I will fish a shore line. Look for a shore line that has a decent amount of runoff that is coming into the lake, The shores most productive have weed and or rock cover and are close to a drop off. T RIGGED/WEIGHTLESS Worms( 71'2" to 11") in brown or green colors and throw it right out from said runoff, This works incredibley! I think the fish cruise there areas and are tuned into looking for washed in food!

Absolutely the worst advice I have ever read here! A good quality jig, has a GOOD QUALITY HOOK, and that is a VERY CRUCIAL DIFFERENCE , from cheap jig heads. Why pay a lot for rod reel and line only to skimp on maybe a 1.00 or 2 when that is how you catch the fish? I do not throw jigs with skirts, I have no opinion on them, but I have experience throwing jigs >>>and cheap jig heads , with cheap hooks GET NO SPACE in my tackle box and I AM CHEAP!!!!!!!
