terrible. i was out today and had a school of em follow a 3.5" soft swimbait up onto the drop off. a couple nipped at it , but none committed. strange to see em come from the deep though.

always. around 6 foot in length. cxx in 6 , 10 or 12#.

i use a 6'6 light/fast clarus with 20/6 braid for most of my finesse fishing (well most of my fishing in general , this rig is a blast to catch fish on). i throw 1/16-3/16 shakey heads , weightless trigged plastics like 4" cut tails , finesse worms , 3" and 4" senkos etc and have no problem setting hooks at the end of a long cast. i also have little issues pulling 3+# peacocks from under sunken docks. while im sure a little more back bone would help , i dont have any issue with what ive been doing. anything above 1/4oz moves to the medium power rods.

i dont have technique specific rods like some do , but i prefer my 6' M/F for top waters and soft jerk baits.

got braid on both of mine. 20/6 power pro on my abu 602 and fireline braid 20/6 on the abu 801. i love it also.

when im with my peeps , we always sip on some MD 20/20 fruit punch. the ladies love it too. ;D i used to be all about vodka and cranberry or OJ....untill i turned 21. LOL. something about that b-day turned me off. dunno if it was the 8 double screwdrivers , the few shots of patron or the glow in the dark bowling , but never again. while i do prefer a beer over a hard drink , i love me some tequila. margaritas or chilled straight. one of my 'anytime' drinks has got to be a tequila sunrise. i could drink it from 9am to 9pm or later. simply yum. bicardi o and sunkist or bicardi limon and sprite/7-up is also pretty good. i need to venture out of my comfort zone and find some other good drinks.

has anyone fished the luck e strike razor worm? they look similar to the kinami cut tails (great bait trigged weightless on a 1/0ewg), but ive never seen them in person. are they durable? heavy? is there anything else similar to the cut tails?

lol. i use a regular pair of craftsman 8" pliers and never had a problem. if i do , a quick trip to sears will solve that. it started to lock up from being wet , but wd-40 fixed that. i dont ever see myself breaking it unless it got ran over by a bulldozer. but even then , im sure it would be fine and i really wouldnt care since it doesnt have a nice finish on it and its less than $20 when bought individually. to cut line , i use a small 'swiss army' knife with the little scissors. i have no problem cutting braid or mono with it. ...it would also make a decent self defense tool if needed.

i just got some new braid in to try on one of my reels. its currently spooled with another type that is still pretty new (and not cheap) so i dont want to throw it away. i dont have a spare spool for this reel either. should i just wrap it up on the spool it came from? what would you guys do in this situation?
