  1. i used to know plenty of people who would spit into a water bottle. so by the end of the day , it looks like a container of toxic waste and smelt how it looked. while i do smoke , i think chew is much more disgusting.
  2. i guess i havnt. but what are we learning about bass in their natural habitat watching them in a fish tank? if you read the comments on the bottom , people are saying they had problems with the pump and seen someone in the cam trying to fix it. : i guess it is cool , but animal planet or national geographic had something similar where the cameras were on a watering hole in africa on some reserve. that was pretty neat.
  3. i think a pflueger president or trion in their 20 size would fit the bill. paired with one of those shimano voltaeus rods. maybe a microlite rod from bps. what do you want to spend?
  4. trojan maaannn!!
  5. i take out 3-5 of whatever plastics and put them in a sandwich bag in the backpack. so instead of carrying around 20 count bags of plastics , i only carry what i need for that outing.

    bah. quattro fo' lyfe.
  7. i bought both a 801 and a 601 but decided to keep the 801. nothing wrong with the 600 series , but the 800's feel bulletproof. presidents are another option , but those handles dont feel right after using rubber ones.
  8. i dont even think i could set a hook with my left hand. just thinking about it is..... mind boggling.
  9. a rapala xrap xr6 in clown and a heddon tiny torpedo in a frog color. money has been tight this year. still gonna try and pick up an abu 4601 if i can find one for the right price.
  10. merry christmas
  11. is that6'6'' lite by chance clarus ??? if it is , those rods are great !!! i want to get another but i think im going to get one custom made , but try to replicate the action and power of the clarus ... yes it is. excellent rod for the money. it will probably get moved to drop shot and light shaky head duty.
  12. good stuff. thats what i was leaning towards also. just gotta keep an eye open on the bay and in the flea market.
  13. i bring 2 or 3 with me. one being a 5' UL. the other two are 'all purpose'. i throw lighter stuff on the 6'6" light spinning rig and everything else on the 6' BC rig. tackle , water , etc goes in a backpack.
  14. right now , i have a 6'6" light fast spinning rig and a 6' medium/fast BC rig. im stuck between a medium spinning rig or a mh BC rig with a smaller round reel like an abu 4601. trying to stay under $100. im open to suggestions.
  15. tooo many , but one that ill always remember is getting hammered underage , getting 'towed' on a bikes handle bars, then falling asleep in the tub. mom didnt like that one.
  16. lol thanks. ive had quite a few setups , from an 8" sub on ~350wrms to a single 15" on 1kw in the video in a 3.8 cuft @ 30hz box... i miss it. >
  17. i only use crutchfield for their speaker fitment guide and to buy headunits since they come with the mounting hardware. for speakers - ikesound.com , onlinecarstereo , hifisoundconnection , and a few others are slipping my mind. ive done business with all of them and have been pleased. always make sure to CALL first before placing an order. especially through ikesound. for subs , i could be here all day. it really comes down to your budget and what your overall goals are. i used to live on caraudio.com/forum before i lost my job and seriously got into fishing. i must warn you though , you will want to have thick skin because members there are not as friendly as the ones here , lol. search first. if you have any further questions , you can shoot me a message on here or on AIM - soldiersensi. since everyone likes pics/vids , heres some of mine.. http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l153/sqhertz/?start=all
  18. sqhertz: I've been using Cocoons for several years now and find no fault with them. I wear tri-focals. check them out the next time you're in BPS. i would but the closest one to me is like 4 hours away. ;D i love the way some oakleys look , but they seem to get mixed reviews from the fishing crowd.
  19. that made me lol. i agree with hammer , my gear is only a fraction of what some of you guys have. i have my rods against the wall. ive been meaning to put together a rack for them but ive been procrastinating. will the rods warp or something?
  20. i wanting to see how many people have Rx lenses. im dying to get a polarized pair but scared to see the cost for Rx lenses.

good read. im actually planning on picking up some molds from do-it and making my own in the future. specifically the football and the shake it. ive lost too many to snags to be buying them at full cost. if anyone has anymore pointers or tips please shoot me a message.
