T.O. cut by the Cowboys
I'm glad I heard this on Sports Center this morning! It made my day! I'm glad we got rid of him! IMO, he never measured up to the playmaker status, way too many dropped balls (especially last season).

What I have and What I need
Come on Robby! Had you mentioned this to us the other day, we could have spent your money for you! ;D Rod wise, the only one I checked out that would have made a decent drop shot rod would have been that Mojo 6'6" ML.

How to find out the moon phase
Btech, The cool thing about the Casio that I have is you actually enter your latitude and longitude (or the spot you're planning on fishing) to get the most accurate number you can. Once you have it entered, a couple clicks of a button and you can look ahead to see where the moon phase will be whenever in the future. Pretty cool little feature (IMO).

Favorite Spinner Bait brand?
Of the ones you have listed, It'd be a toss up between Strike King and War Eagle (with an honorable mention to BPS) but have to go with Picasso as my favorite. In general, a white/black scale skirt with a double williowleaf combination (one gold, one silver) would serve you well in the condition you mention. I have a rather wide rangle of colors in my boxes and there are certain times of the year that I go to other colors as my top choice but in general, what I listed will work just fine.

Skeet!
I thought I heard him mention Biosonix as one of his sponsors? Didn't BASS ban Biosonix back when KVD went on that streak a few years back? Or was that just a rumor they were going to ban it?

Spooling Braided Line
Power Pro and Suffix seem to be the most popular braids (from what I've remember reading on the boards). I personally do not care for fireline. I'm using Suffix Performance braid.

I picked up a couple too but haven't thrown them yet. I have luck with a couple of the Cotton Cordell cranks, the Big-O, Wiggle-O and the Super Spot.

Maryland's Who's who!
Hey Other, Truely sad! I'm guessing Clopper is not set up like Black Hills where you can not put a boat on the lake until March 1st???
-
Maryland's Who's who!
Wouldn't Black Hills and Seneca be the same lake I know Black Hills is actually called Little Seneca Creek lake. I did a google on Seneca lake and and Seneca Creek State Park/Clopper lake came up for it. Are we all confused now? LOL!

Maryland's Who's who!
Hey BAMA_BASS, Welcome to our neck of the woods! I've only fished Senneca a handful of times so I can't really comment about it. I've heard there are some decent fish in there but none on the end of my line. Since I work in Germantown, I get to fish Black Hills a good bit. The spawn usually occurs around the first week of May (I base that off of about 12 years worth of fishing there). There are some really good bass in there. The biggest I've landed out of there is a 22", 5lb 5oz chunk but I've seen and have had a couple on in the 7-8lb range. The lake gets poluted with hydrilla in the summer which makes shore fishing challenging for sure but its still managable in a few areas. Fair warning, there are tiger muskies in Black Hills and I've caught several out of there on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. I've had a couple on, on RatLTraps and Brush Hogs too. Needless to say, I was on the losing end of thier teeth on those. About mid to late March is usually when I start seeing more action there. Hope that helps some! I'm sure a few more can comment on Black Hills and a couple of the other lakes in the area as well! Sean

Decent trip today....
Ok, not sure why I didn't check your thread out earlier??? But I know exactly where you were talking about now after looking at your picture. I fished there a couple of years ago and completely forgot about that spot! Anyway, congrats again!
