I'm assuming it doesn't have power tilt/trim? If not it will just take some playing on your part to get it set in the right position for the best of both worlds.

For 3k I'd jump all over that deal.

This being said, I'd just leave anything with the designation "car" out of the equation. If you have to just buy a beater pickup truck for a few hundred dollars.

I know I've saw your name on their site. I actually know several of the guys in the club. I also fished the open tourney on Mill Creek with you last year. I fished with my wife in the 18ft Quantum. I've thought about joining the club but I'm not sure if that's exactly what I'm looking for. I'd honestly like to hit some of the bigger lakes with whichever club I join. BTW, I think I'm gonna fish the open again this year.

I started out in a 16' aluminum deepv then went to a 17 foot fiberglass bass boat and now a 18 1/2' fish and ski. I can say with ease that the bigger the boat the better I like it.

It was definitely a crazy storm last night. We lost power for about 5 minutes. We were the last house on the street that came on then. Everything above us was still out when I went to bed last night. Lights were on this morning though.

No chat for me either. The places around her cater more to hunting so you get left alone pretty good while in the fishing area.

Swing-N-Slide....that's the name of it! Same place I got the idea for my daughters. Anyway, looks great and they'll have tons of fun.

I wish I had a picture here at work to post but that is EXACTLY what I built my daughter last year. I'd be willing to bet that the swings, slide and tarp on the roof came from Home Depot. Yes, it's expensive but much less than buying a pre-built one. Looks great and the kids will enjoy it!

Just put your nose to the grindstone and keep with it. I got a bad health report last spring and it was either go on several meds and be at risk for diabetes and heart disease or lose weight. Diabetes and heart disease runs rampant in my family and I DON"T want it! I lost 57lbs in the spring of 08! All my problems went to a level that I don't need meds. I'm still overweight and plan on dropping more. I'm telling you...it feels GREAT to lose that much weight! Keep it up and I really do wish you luck!

I was fishing from the bank today so I couldn't reach the really deep water. I have a hard time fishing so slow. I swear I think I have ADD! The pond I was fishing is about 8 acres in size. I'm gonna try to put the boat on there in the next couple of weeks and get a good idea of what the bottom looks like and try slowing down some more.

What's the magic water temperature that you start fishing hard in the spring? I seem to not do much fishing till I see between 50 and 55. Reason I'm asking is that I went out for a couple hours today and the water temp was 46. I had no bites in about 2 hours of fishing. I feel like it's useless for me to try when it's under 50.

I on the other hand (no pun intended) used a Zebco 33 growing up therefore I always reeled with the right hand and twitched and whatnot with the left. Maybe this is why I HAVE to reel with the right hand.

Even though I can't hardly do anything with my left hand I can twitch a jerkbait with it no problem. I even move the handle over to the right hand side on my spinning reels because I can't crank the handle with my left hand.
