  2. See what Dual Pro says. Pro Mariner recommends installing the unused leads on the battery. As far as the battery being bad, we have no idea if the charger caused it or not. Make sure you charge the batteries to full after each outing. Check the water levels periodically and top off as necessary.
  3. 14 highway, 12 to 13 with the boat in tow
  4. I agree they can get chewed up but I bet none are missing ears.
  5. The MK prop is indestructible. Pick up a package of shear pins. Once a shear pin gets bent, it will cause the unit to be noisy and vibrate.

  7. 4Runner has a limited towing capacity. May or may not be enough for the OP's boat, but I'd much rather have the Sequoia with the 5.7 I'm at the 200k mark on my Tundra. 5.7 is still running strong and doesn't leak a drop of oil.
  8. A bit crappy out tomorrow with Sunday being no much better
  9. @Fishing Rhino might be able to chime in on a solution
  10. 10 amps per bank is good. 15 is better
  11. Dual Pro chargers are the only chargers that are serviceable. If the MK or Pro Mariner fail, they are garbage.
  12. The rain and forcasted 25mph NE wind with 45mph gusts should make that tourney most enjoyable. More snow Sunday night as well.
  13. Do a Google image search of Rod tote or Rod and reel tote. There are a lot of options. You might be able to find one that you can securely mount to your sport track gunwale brackets allowing you additional horizontal storage.
  14. My mother has a refrigerator magnet that says "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you'll get him out of the house"
  15. There is a boat on my home water named "The Enema Bandit"....."Farty Mc Boat" doesn't sound that bad. You could always name it "Hey, Fetch me a Beer and Do the Dishes While You're At It"
  16. This is the law in some states. I wouldn't be overly concerned with the noise. The small amount of play won't break the hitch pin.
  17. Define bass boat. I paid less than a grand for this bad boy
  18. Looks like prime prespawn weather this weekend.
  19. Join the club
  20. 5500 C3's will last a lifetime
  21. If you believe you will get more enjoyment out of the magazine than a case of beer, buy the magazine. If not, enjoy your beer.
