Looking to buy first boat
It's very over priced and Fisher were known leakers. Tracker bought out Fisher right around this time. If the boat is pristine, it isn't worth more than 4-5 grand You fish Lake Wisconsin? the Madison Chain? Koshkonong?

Battery level meter ?
If it's set too high, it will go off everytime you start the big motor. I think i have mine set somewhere between 11.0 and 11.3

Famous fisherman who inspired you
Early inspirations were family. Growing up there was 1 tv in the house and about all I can remember is watching Fred Bear bow hunting before World of Disney came on the tv. Later on we had the Lindners, Babe Winkleman, and Midwest Outdoors. Babe Winkleman was the first pro I ever shook hands with and all I can remember is how tall he was. Can't really say I've been inspired by any pros, just being inspired by the sport itself.

I'm up there as well. The "boat monkey" is the monkey on your back talking you into buying a boat. The "bait monkey" is the monkey on your back talking you into buying baits

And i thought i was done with winter. We were spared the 10" of snow forecast today, it all was south. The wind will keep me off the water this weekend. East 25 today and east 15-20 tomorrow. if it was 70* I'd be out there but these 25* mornings, 20 mph winds, and my arthritis don't play well together.

Vexus Boats?
When I fish that stretch of river on the weekends, I head back up north no later than 11am. It's downright dangerous during a summer afternoon. Those videos show the boats travelling in one direction for the run. It's even worse on a normal summer weekend when you have boats running both north and south.

Vexus Boats?
I welcome you to come visit the Fox Chain of Lakes in Northern IL, my home water. Busiest inland waterway per acrew in the United States. With areas nicknamed The Washtub, and Suicide Alley, navigation can be a bit hairy at times. The Washtub is a stretch of river a number of miles long that may be 50 yards wide at it's narrowest and 100 yards or so at its widest. No speed limits or size restrictions. Most of the shoreline is steel seawalls. Waves have nowhere to go but back and forth every which way. It's real easy to get stuck in a boat wake while "staying with traffic" While not a typical weekend, the traffic here is insane from Memorial weekend to Labor Day

Other Species Latest Catch Pics Thread
The perch roe was not fishy at all. I made sure to not break the sac. Dipped them in egg and Zatarans and deep fried them for around 12 minutes on 350* They were off white colored like a baked potato, not brown like your pike roe.
