  1. He's the second owner. Maybe they don't transfer warranty. For a boat with less than 1hr on it his dealer or Nitro is screwing him.
  2. Looking forward to your results. Anybody else got anything planned? I'm doing Sturgeon Bay next weekend for brown bass and kings, and the Wisconsin river the weekend after that for brown bass, walleye, and crappie.
  3. Is there a caster/camber adjustment like a car would have?
  4. I saw a post hurricane pic on another forum of Lake Guerrero. Probably a good thing you didn't go.
  5. Great movie There's a decent movie running recently on Showtime called Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. It's a little hokey but not horrible.
  6. Welcome from the Chicago burbs. There's an IL thread in the Northeast fishing forum called "Where are the IL guys at?" Check it out
  7. Nitro won't warranty a new boat that hasn't even been broken in yet? WOW!
  8. I've had it since it came out. 1 complaint. The buttons don't light up. I'm pretty good with navigating the keypad without looking but I've done some night fishing, and it sure would help.
  9. Fishing from a vehicle is nothing new. WI and MN ice fishermen have been doing it for years. There are plenty lying at the bottom of all those pristine lakes.
  10. Taste good? Those zombie kings are nasty mush. If you catch them early enough, they're not bad on the smoker. Much better when they're still silver.
  11. Don't let out the factory smoke
  12. Where you getting it from? Bolingbrook or Gurnee?
  13. Most of the smaller clubs, including the ones I mentioned have no hp limits. Guys have fished with 9.9hp-300hp. I fish AC and have for a number of years. I competed with a 90hp on a tin boat for most of those. There is decent money to be won in the Fox Chain division, which is the one I fish, but I see that's a little drive for you. They have a tournament of champions every spring and it's either been on G'ville or KY Lake the last number of years. If you qualify, you have chance to win 1 of 3 fully rigged Legend bass boats. They limit the TOC to 200 boats and the boats are given for 1st, 2nd, and a draw boat so you could win a boat weighing in zero. Congrats on the new boat purchase. Don't forget to post pics when you pic her up.
  14. How could I forget Nikki Cox

  16. Is your heart set on new? On a new boat, the cost of a 150 is 1/2 your budget or more. The contingency programs are nice if you can find a club that is part of them(I know nothing about FLWs involvement), but a lot of the mfgs of boats, and now accessories, have some type of program. You can check out AC Tournaments http://www.actournaments.com/illinois-bass-tournaments.htm, and Anglers Dream http://anglers-dream.com/ in Northern IL for buddy tourneys
  17. I think Bobcat Goltwaith played the rabbit.
  18. I would start with the obvious. Without electronics or even a map, paddling to the middle and casting blindly would be my last option
  19. Super Bowl Baby!!!! Not to mention she fills it out pretty good
  20. I don't know the dimensions of the HDS7, but that mount is perfect on my 998 and needed for rough water to prevent the graph from moving.
  21. and he threw twice as many pics as TD's She's all flattered. She tells me "He looks pretty good for someone old enough to be my father" From what she told me, it sounds like he thought she was quite a bit younger than 45.
  22. Was at Wally World today. I went wee wee in a urinal built to save the planet. There was a small plaque on the wall for reading material whilst going. It said it flushes with 16oz of water rather than 1gal. It would have been great for the planet if 16oz had worked.
