Finesse Baitcasting Reels
IMHO the rod has more to do with it than the reel, I thro 1/16 lures on a revo s with a light action rod.

Bass Tracker Project Boat
That is a sweet deal , the trailer is probably close to that price. Do the carbs and plugs like you mentioned if you get some life do the lower unit oil change and impeller. When you tear out the flooring you can put in the water and check for leaks also rewire if you have too. If it leaks find a good local welder.

Reutimann and Other No-Names
I agree with Bush driving like Dale Earnhadt in fact I have left the JR NATION to Bush. Remeber Earnhardt when him and Childress first hooked up he wasnt the fan favorite.
-
Who's Your Favorite NASCAR Driver?
Longtime #3 fan, now I actually go for Kyle Busch reminds me of Earnhardt way he can run a car no matter how correct the set up is. JR has lost the fire after his fire in the corvette but who can blame him.

Baitcasting wannabe needs first reel advice
That inshore will cast those topwaters about a mile or two on the right rod. Falcon 8' outasight. Depends if you are wading or on a boat deck with that much rod.

Which type of line?
I have run the whole gamut of lines, Floro, braid, copoly and have ended up with braid and floro leader for 90% of my rigs from 10lb to 40 lb the others I haven't had time to switch. ;D

G-Blanks custom rod?????
I have a M 6'8" and a MH 6'6" and I luv em. On the M I fish 10lb mono and it is very sensitive as I use it for finesse type stuff. The MH I use 30lb braid with a floru leader and you can feel the fish just looking at your lure. Both are RX7. For the price not much else out there that matches up IMHO.

Fat Ika Help
I use a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG and rig backwards , run the hook thru the IKA at the skirt and then instead of going back thru the bait I lay it along the side and then skin hook it .

Kistler 6'3" Magnesium spinning rod
Thanks Ghost, I am looking for a skipping rod as well as a tight quarters rod. I fish a couple cypress swamps that you have to walk to get to them as the outflow is to shallow for a boat and too many knock downs. The short handle actually maybe good as alot of the cast are one handed wrist snaps.
