  2. It's always nice when you get something resolved...
  3. I agree, for a few bucks more you could get one of Mattlures hard baits..much more life like..and the quality is GREAT!!.. There are others too.
  4. I'm not greedy like Catt...so how bout a meesly 1 pound of 100 dollar bills..? ;D
  5. Welp, I don't want to break the cycle..so I would have to say the Rage Tail line is hands down the most inovative yet....plus they really catch fish...
  6. Have a look at this spinnerbait thread.. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1259438248
  7. Unless your buying these online..take your reel and mount it up...Personally I favor longer rods too..so I'd opt for the 6'9".
  8. After further thought, I'm gonna use the 55 lb on the BC...thanks again.
  9. Can we ask how you were fishing the jig...?
  10. After doing some reading and research...I'm gonna go with the samuri in 40 for the bc, and 20 for my spinning...I'll be using fluro leaders to match the line dia. of the braid. Thanks gents..
  11. Has anyone used this stuff, and if so...is it worth the extra $$$ compared to say..powerpro ect..?
  12. The 2500 Sedona works just fine...
  13. Not to highjack this thread...but has anyone used the Diawa Samuri..?
  14. Thanks for puttin that up Glenn...I learned a few things today...
  15. Great footage....thanks for the link..
  16. I use ultrasoft on all of my reels, spinning and baitcasting. So far in the last 6 mos. I've been using yozuri, I have only encountered 1 problem, and that was, I believe I got either a real old spool, or a bad batch of line..as it had way more memory than the yozuri I've use to date. Until someone comes out with something better for my application, I'll stick to ultrasoft..
  17. My Son has the 2500 Sahara..I've used it a few times, pretty nice for it's price range. I believe has it mounted on a Diawa Tierra, 6'6" mf, although I think it wouldn't make much of a difference if you used a longer rod, and a more stout rod. The Sahara I have is also a 2500, mounted on my 7' Clarus m xf...I use 6# Yozuri Hybrid Ultrasoft line..It cast's a mile, a very smooth reel, I recomend it.
  18. Cool, Fat Ika's catch fish...for our local lake/pond..it's a goto bait for a lot of the guys that fish there.
  19. X 2....I can't figure out why I don't use a palomar... ;D
  20. If 1 fish is worth 6.00, then yes...
  21. X 2...IIRC, Kimbo actually did get whipped in a backyard fight, can't remember the dudes name that beat him.
  22. Price is all relative...the line lasts, doesn't break off like mono.. The ultrasoft is da bomb yo... 8-)
  23. I prefer w/o...then are are situations that I'll use a rattle.
  24. JUst to add...I fish from shore way more than I care to..lol umm anyways, I prerfer a longer rod, for longer cast's, if your lake/ pond allows for it. All my rods for shore are 7'-7'6". You can fish from shore just as you would from a boat pretty much. Don't forget the dropshot...and fish slow.. Have fun!
