  1. Will be getting mine tomorrow from TW..
  2. I guess I'm one of those "Dumb" people... : I rely on peoples opinion of a product if in fact they have used that product, I have asked for opinons of folks here, not nessesarly better anglers. Brand has littler to do my purchases, unless it's a Shimano..
  3. Checked the local tackle shops, all of em were outta the 55 # samuri..so I bought some spiderwire ultracast to try out, got thr 50#..I did order the 55# samuri from TW...along with some other goodies.. 8-)
  4. I find that hard to believe.... :-/ Sometimes a slower steady retrive works wonders..
  5. I'll also echo what senco 77 said..for roboworms I carry almost every color they make, not so much with other baits.
  6. Can we also add....Please don't lay your bass in the dirt, on the grass, or the carpet on your boat..?
  7. Me too...I use the 1/2 oz bluegill pattern..no trailer..they do catch fish
  8. I would tend to agree with this...Although I like lots of others run my baitcasters really loose, i.e. no brakes, and hardly any spool tension..it's all in the Thumb.. Sometimes using a to heavy lure ona rod that isn't rated to handle it will tend to backlash, as will casting into a gusty headwind.
  9. Take this for what it is..on bluff walls, depending on how steep they are, I try to "walk" my jig down the face, kinda like bottom bumping. Having a trailer such as the one RW suggested helps the jig fall slower, which for me is Good..I also fish my jigs painfully slow, i.e. cast, let it sit for a min. of 30-60 seconds or more, twitch..let it sit, and so on, all the way to the boat. Very seldom do I swim a jig, although I on occasion will slow roll them. Sometimes I will hop them 2-4 times, maybe 3 or so inches off the bottom. IMHO, try different retrives, hopefully you'll find one that works best. Having said all that, it will also depend onb the fish, if they are active or inactive..ect.
  10. Welcome young man...not all of us fish the most fertile bass lakes, but at least we get to fish..
  11. My bps extrem did that, until I loosened the spool adjustment knob..then it rotated easily.. no. i couldnt remember if the plate rotated up or down. at first it wouldnt move either way.
  12. Very cool....gotta love Ole Bill D... ;D
  13. Wow...I thought Deigo would have done better also..gotta hand it to BJ..wish I could have seen that..

  23. I have read many, many opinions about this on other outlets and the endless defense by some folks in this big world of this lying adulterer Is stunning to me and has made me wonder how the lines of decency have become so blurred. For clarity: The last paragraph Is my own ramblings Bassn Blvd and as such weren't related to the quoted post above.
