BPS 2010 BC Reel Lineup
I have a older Extrem, adjustment tolerences aren't great, but it works fine. My Son has the Johnny Morris...and it works great, really smooth for that price range..So no, they do make some decent reels. I also have a Chronarch...are those 2 reels close in terms of performance...no, but the Morris should be a nice addition to anyones collection imho.

senko setup: casting vs spinning
Again, it depends on the lake, and cover/structure ect. If I had to make a guess, I'd say BC 75 % pf the time. Now I'll vote..

senko setup: casting vs spinning
There wasn't a "Both" I use both depending..I'm more accurate with my spinning rig..( don't ask why) If i'm fishing open water, or heavier cover other than having to skip a bait under anything..I use my BC.. So...how should I vote..

Rod and Reels: Cabela's Vs BPS
I currenlt have the BPS Rick Clunn BC rod, and an older BPS Extrem BC reel. Never tried a cabela's product. I like my rod, for the $$ it's comfy, fairly sensitive, and does other things besides tossin worms. The reel........well mine is kinda "touchy" i.e. adjustments are very critical..like the spool tension, to much and cast's suffer big time, to little and major overrun, plus the tension affects the play in the spool itself..whereas my other reel doesn't experience that, but it cost alot more. Overall the bps is a good deal if you get em on sale. I think the rod is o.k. for the $$$ on sale and it's a good deal. Knowing what I know now, I probably would have bought other brands...I won't say which ones, as not to start a "brands" loyalty thang here.. :-X

Do you mess with the Shimano VBS on the reels?
Haha..it's amazing what those 2 little pins do.. ;D

Hope I get use to reeling left handed!
Here's my take on this..If your a righty, and cast with your right hand, why make the switch to your left to crank..? For me, it's So much easier to cast, the with my left reach for the reel to crank instead of changing hands.. Plus, I have more motor skills in my right, so I'm able to work my rod mush better. BTW, I tried a right handed baitcaster...needless to say..I was Lost! ;D To each his own..

how do you guys organize your soft plastics?
That's why I carry a backpack...you can get a lot of plastic's in there...
-
how do you guys organize your soft plastics?
Leave em in the bags and toss them into my 3700 storage boxes..For the used plastic's, I get the ziplock bags, after dipping them in JJ's Magic, I then sort them by color..And yes, my tackle boxes do smell..lol

Do you mess with the Shimano VBS on the reels?
I recently removed all my brakes on my Chronarch..but 2 on seemed to work the best. 1/2 oz baits is the min. I throw with it.

Phone # for Huddleston custom baits?
Strange, my 6" weedless swims fine. Except when the line gets short, say 6' from the rod tip, then it tends to swim funny if you speed it up, or if the rod is not inline with the bait.

braid choices.... samurai vs. fire
Can't speak to the Fireline, cuz all I've used is the spiderwire ultracast. Then I bought some Diawa Samuri, I use the 55# test. This stuff is great, very limp, color doesn't go away or, keep coming off on your fingers. I use it mainly for my swimbait/pitchen rig..Samuri cast's a mile. I can w/o cause totally recomend it. BTW, if you haven't already, check ***..

Zoom Brush Hogs
Flylining them over weeds or grass works pretty good too..

Shimano Core50
What is it you want to do with it...????? Wormin, cranks, ect...?

Finesse Spining VS Casting
If your having line problems, it's likely 1 or 2 things. If you have a size 2500 reel, 10# test is max, lighter is better..Another thing is, and I would guess that if your using line under 10 lb test, your spooling it on backwards ...which is causing the line to jump off the reel...If you have larger reel, the 10# would be fine. I have been using a spinning rig along with a baitcaster for a long time..w/o any issues. Try flylining a 6" roboworm with a baitcaster..

how do u guys fish ur flukes
Same here...I did try a new way just for the heck of it..I cut just a tad off the head of the fluke and tied a 3/8 oz scrounger head on, the fluke has to be really straight, but the action was pretty good, I'll keep trying..
