  1. 13 lbs 2 oz is the Ohio state record, so you would have to decide at what weight a Trophy bass would be.
  2. This is why, in my first reply, I said " True Flipping "..And I agree with you.
  3. With out being political...we get raped..
  4. Geez, Diesel is at 3.79 to 3.95 at most stations around the southern part of Los Angeles...Cali always seems to be one of the, if not the highest places to buy gas/diesel..
  5. Ditto..
  6. Y'all must flip much differently than I do..
  7. For true Flipping.? No. You could possibly get by using it for froggin, although I prefer a fast tip. As most all rods are rated differently, it's hard to say. Maybe try it, see if your hook sets are o.k. or if your missing fish, it may be to soft.
  8. Played this song a ton on guitar, A great old favorite.

  12. I don't think it will, just get out there and Fish!
  13. Retired Contractor/Carpenter...I would Not continue to use that blade. Also, there are better brand blades out there. I don't have any 10" blades, or I'd send ya one..Can't you order another online..? Edit: I just looked at HD site. In 10" I'd recommend either the DeWalt, or Makita blades, they cost more, and for good reason
  14. Hmm, possibly a nerve related thing..
  15. Depending on your age, it may be nothing, But, if your getting up in years, you may want to go see a Doc.. I'm almost 72, and I also play golf, one thing I do is hip stretching exorcises that I got from a retired pro baseball catcher, it really has helped. Hope you get it sorted, pain is no fun.
  16. Depending on variegation, and cover, the same lures you would use on a lake, except for deep diving crank baits. Bass are no different in a pond compared to a lake or river. Soft plastics T rigged are always good, as are a number of others.
  17. I throw mine on 10 lb fc. Never had any issues.
  18. I retired from construction about 10 yrs ago, and I still get calls, in fact, got one today. Like you, I don't return the calls.
  19. Good luck on the toilet paper..lol
  20. Keep mine n the clam shells, just because.......
  21. I would add a Spro BBZ 1 4" shad, in Killer Gill.
  22. Flipping is usually defined as a No cast flipping a jig, normally 1/2 oz or heavier, with a 8 foot heavy rod with 50 to 80 lb braid. This is a close quarter technique. You are normally flipping into real heavy cover, hence the rod and line weight. Look on youtube , on how to flip for bass. Also here's more info re: flipping and pitching. https://www.bassresource.com/fish/flip-pitch.html
