  10. Hey everyone, I have a very lightly used Pfluger Supreme XT that I love, got it about 3 months ago, had it oiled immediately. When I use her now, I always get a "clicking" when I reel in. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the help. Wdy

  16. Mr. Clean, I will have to remeber that one! I personally use a little bit of soap and warm water, and let the rod thoroughly dry.
  17. Justin, make sure you have some good line on. Stinky (Sean) and I use to fish there a lot. I have moved away, but Sean can and will help you out. Also, try Mariners Museum, AWESOME fish in there!!!! Good luck!!!
  18. I love this forum! I cant tell you how hard I laughed at some of the comments people make. In a newer thread about "Names of big bass," RW called them Wal-mart girls! I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard!!! Another one DVT was contradicting someone's statement about high-end rods and reels, vs. middle of the road and he made a comment something to the effect "Just because it's a Cadillac and not a Mercedes doesnt mean its' gargbe." I can always depend on someones review of a rod or reel I am thinking about from this forum as well. Thank-you Moderators! great place. PS, the mobile website is AWESOME as well!!!
  19. Are brown fish ok? Here is mine, got him on a Rage Craw. I thought it was a largemouth till I saw he was brown and proceeded to FREAK out!! This is my biggest Smallmouth to date (probably for a long time, just moved to Louisiana from Virginia.) First time using a Rage Craw as well. I used a Rage shad one time (first Rage product I ever used), first cast put it on the noise of a 4#, he turned his head slurpped it in. The lure was not in the water 5 seconds for that bass, are you kidding me!!!
  20. I want to go fishing with everyone on this thread! (Well, except the first guy.) I haven't laughed this hard in a long time!!!! (Released into oil, that was hiliarous!!!) This is great forum, all the work the moderators do keeping this site going! All the advice I have read about, everyone has been super helpful with ideas and recommendations.
  21. Tony, is the number 16?
  22. I'm from Virginia, but now living elsewhere. Welcome to the forums!!!
  23. SSGt, Welcome to VA, I am from Richmond, and use to work in Newport News, Va. I use to fish down there a lot. I would recommend checking out Suffolk, VA lakes. You have Lake CAhoon, Lake Maury, Prince Lake, Burnt Mills and the finger lakes. Check out a sight called www.bassjons.com The above lakes, minus the finger lakes are 9.9hp restriction. So, your trolling motor will do fine. Cahoon/lake Maury are divided by a dam so, they are next to each other. you should be able to find some bass in there! Great places to fish!! Send me a PM and I will let you know what does damage there. Thanks for serving! Wdy
