  1. I'm going to pick mine up this Sun so i will get back with yall then!!! LOL!!! ;D
  2. Can anybody chime in and explain this to me? Which lines have the 4 strand and which have the 8?
  3. Well, it looks like it comes down to Suffix or Power Pro! Since i hear Suffix fades slower, i will probably go with that one!
  4. Man, i take so much for granted in life unknowingly! God bless that man!!!
  5. The only bad thing i keep hearing about Power Pro is that the color does not last very long! How about Spider Wire camo?
  6. From the stone age? I tried Firline a while ago and it is absolute garbage IMO! I had it break on little snags so i bought new spool, same thing!
  7. I don't usually here bad stuff about Power Pro! I don't need casting distance for flippin'/pitchin' though. I guess i will check out Suffix too!
  8. I will be dropping by Bass Pro this Sat so i will check the different braids out i guess!
  9. The Harris chain definitely holds some monsters in it! But, it gets beat 24-7 and the fish are getting pretty finicky IMO! The last time i was there(Feb 09) the lakes where very shallow as well. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!!!
  10. You have a curse alright..................the Shimano rods are to brittle curse, LOL! J/K man, i had a crucial snap on a hookset once! Warranty made it right though.
  11. I found the Mojo line up to be very good rods for the money! With that said, they are not the best choice for flippin'. They lack the sensitivity needed to detect those subtle bites. Also, no Fuji guides to withstand braided lines common with the flippin technique. I also dislike the tip on the 7' 6" Mojo, it is too soft IMO!
  12. Would 65lb Power Pro braid be too big? I will also be pitchin' thick lily pad fields.
  13. After years of using monofilament and fluorocarbon line for all my flippin'/pitchin' techniques i am ready for a change. This past weekend i hooked into a bass that i am 100% sure was my new PB(atleast 11lbs) while pitchin' a field of hydrilla/cattail mix. It wrapped me up in a clump of slop so i tried to winch it out as i usually do. Then, my 25lb BPS XPS fluoro snapped, i almost cried you guys! So, i have decided to switch to braid. Most of the lakes i fish are kind of a greenish tea color. What size braid do you guys recommend i use. Also, what brand is the best so to speak?
  14. Why....................what does this guy know about MattLures baits!?! LOL!!!
  15. An Abu Garcia Revo of course! I use an STX because of the 24lb drag system they have. This thing paired with a good stick and line will ****** them right out of anything!
  16. This is so true man! My favorite lake was under management(FWC) for years so big fish were very common! It gained popularity so quickly that it got "beat" 24-7, now you can hardly catch anything there! >
  17. I always have a T-Rig ready to go tied with 20lb BPS XPS fluoroarbon!
  18. ZOOM 6-8" lizards are all i use!
  19. I have the exact opposite situation going on! My lakes are so shallow that the fish are way easier to find and more predictable as well!
  20. Truer words have never....................well, you know the rest!!!
  21. I use the $25 Berkley scale from BPS and it is pretty accurate!
