  1. If you are gunna pray for rain to go home why go in the first place!?! I guess when the fish bury themselves in that FL cover you are going to pitch/flip a crankbait in to get them huh?
  2. Save your money... if what you said earlier about a flimsy tip is really how you feel, you probably won't like Loomis blanks. The tips are actually very light (we say delicate) for the power rods, and they are that way by design. If you want the heavier feeling tip, go St. Croix. REALLY, thanks for the heads up man! What St. Croix would you recommend that has a stout backbone and stiff tip in the 7' range? I like the Mojo rods power and action but i want Fuji guides!
  3. I am looking into a MossyBack Loomis. What are your thoughts on that line?
  4. The crawfish and shad scents are the worse stuff i ever used! Sure, the smell is right on the $ but it is gone after one cast! If you want a good attractant that stays on all day or until lure rips, get B.A.N.G. in the spray can. I use the crawfish scent and it lasts as long as the lure holds up!
  5. When i opened my brand new SX for service it had oil on the washers! I cleaned them and left them dry and it performs fine!
  6. I tried the Elite series and did not like them! I am however in the process of either getting the MossyBack or a custom rod with Loomis blank. Just got to find a reputable builder!
  7. Very hard to beat for about $50 on Ebay! I use one for spinnerbaits/buzzbaits and i love it. I had my worm reel lock up on me while fishing a lake once. I locked the drag and actually used the SilverMax to pitch plastics in pads and bullrush and it performed like a champ! Very versatile IMO!
  8. I couldn't agree with you more man(love your lures BTW)! My love for the sport makes me release all fish. Because i want others to have the chance at the fish i caught and because i couldn't bring myself to kill one either. IF I WANT TO EAT FISH, I WILL GO TO THE STORE/RESTARAUNT AND BUY IT(not bass though)!!!!!
  9. Thanks. But understand this is how the Daiwa illness begins. You buy one becasue you've heard good things about them. Next thing you know, your addicted. Zillions are the crack of the fishing world. In just a couple of months I went from zero Daiwas to this... http://bzty5q.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pYAxw8qRwSfamXTU3pgLJWR8ZhCotadAJXPJB2A4XjizKnDRuOOqNFicPiSW3OKtrtd7XkmoT61AUv3dt1KTgOw/004.jpg OMG!!!!!! You are single handily keeping them in business through this recession man, LOL! ;D
  10. I know a few that will flip/pitch while wading around cover.
  11. How do you know it is an issue in FL?
  12. Stick to Ebay for a low budget combo. You can find some great deals on there!
  13. What have you heard about them snapping on hook sets or under load?
  14. I am hearing mixed reviews on these rods, more bad than good! I think i will just continue the never ending search for the perfect jig/worm rod!!!!! >
  15. I say definitely Revo man! All i own is Revos and have had zero problems with them.
  16. Why, you already did it for me, LOL! JOKE!!!! I found threads stating that the Magnesium rods didn't have Fuji guides. Some rep for Kistler was talking about it that's why i asked!
  17. Can this, google you speak of find me people that have used them and can tell me about there sensitivity as well?
  18. Hello all! Does anyone know if the Kistler Magnesium TS rods come with Fuji guides or not? I read that they have Fuji frames but it doesn't specify about the guides. I was playing with the Jig-n-Toad at BPS and i was considering getting it but i want all Fuji components. Also, how is the sensitivity on these rods for t-rigged plastics, jigs etc?
  19. I played with a Kistler Magnesium TS jig n toad rod at BPS today that was pretty sweet! I might get that one.
  20. I could not have said it better myself bro! When i was teaching my little bro to fish he went about 6 months with no fish. We tried everything but no luck. Then, i tied on a Senko and he caught his first pond bass. The picture still hangs on just about every relatives wall, LOL!
  21. AWWW, i feel you bro! I just sold a car i had as a spare and well.........i have a doctors apointment tomorrow close to the Bass Pro Shop so i might as well drop in and have a look see, right!?!
