How long does it take you to get ready?
Assuming all batteries are charged, loaded and the trailer is hooked up, it takes me about 20min or so. I just load the rods/tackle and take cover off boat and go!

Lizards help please.
ZOOM 6" in watermelon/chart is deadly on my lakes! Anytime of the year except winter(as if there is such a thing in FL)!

Flechero, If given a choice between the RX8 rod and a Loomis MossyBack 855, which would you go with? Which is more sensitive?

Pictures of mounts?
They cost so much that i would rather just have some good photos! If i ever did, it would have to be atleast over 15lbs! Although the Bass Pro Shop offers a free replica if you catch a big fish and donate it to there aquariums!

G-Blanks custom rod?????
Hey all! I am looking into having a new worm rod made by G-Blanks. Has anyone had any experience with these rods? They are using the RX7 and RX8 blanks now. I would mainly like to here about the sensitivity and power of the blanks? What other rods do they compare to? How stiff are the H/F and ExH/F blanks? Any help is appreciated!

post spawn fish
I feel ya man! I had a really crappy time after they came off the spawn here in FL as well! I would suggest looking shallow in the morning and moving out a bit as the day goes by! If you can see them than they probably see/hear you as well. I would back off until you can't see them and make long cast running a reaction type bait by them(spinner, rat-l-trap). Or try a finesse presentation like a small Senko or a shaky head Trick worm. Move around a lot until you find them. BEST OF LUCK!!!!

Every dog has his day!!!!!

First Foot Controlled Motor
IMO, all the new motorguides are inferior to the older models. I went through two in two weeks before i decided to switch to MinnKota! I got the 55lb Edge for my 16ft fiberglass boat. BassPro has a 65lb 24V Edge on sale for like $429.00!

gotta tip?
When there not biting worms!?! There's a time when they won't take a plastic worm!?!

Favorite lure for milfoil / weed beds?
I would first pick off the ones on the outer edges with a lip less crank early in the day. Then i would break out the flippin' stick with a soft plastic t-rigged and pitch to open holes, breaks in the cover etc. If it is calm and clear be very subtle in your approach!

Every dog has his day!!!!!
Thanks a lot guys! She broke about 8" off my Powell 704C but that was my fault for leaving the flippin' stick at home!

After The Heavy Rain???!!
For that kind of cover i would definitely try flippin/pitchin a worm man! That way you are looking for that reaction strike so it doesn't matter if they are full or not. Start shallow and head out deeper(although i don't think they are too deep).

After The Heavy Rain???!!
We had no luck deep either around the kissimmee area! We absolutely killed em in the shallow lili pads though. No other piece of cover produced a single bite all day but the pads.

Nice one this Morning
What lake is that man? I got a 7lb one today as well!

Pretty decent day
NICE, they look way bigger than you say!

Every dog has his day!!!!!
The fish was released after the pics(taken at the boat ramp because i forgot the camera in the truck). I don't ever keep fish of any kind.

Every dog has his day!!!!!
And today was mine! I have been out of town working for the past couple of days and thought i wasn't going to fish this weekend. But, i had my brother meet me at one of his "holes" at daylight today so we could fish. Three hours and not one bite! I told him to let me take him to one of my spots and show him how to fish. So we went and absolutely "killed em"! Total of 25 fish combined and this beauty that i caught! She was just under 24 1/2" and weighed in at 7lbs 1oz. We tried to do our best with the pics. Keep in mind i am 6' 2" and 256lbs. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc102/luist4498/101_0004.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc102/luist4498/101_0001.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc102/luist4498/101_0002.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc102/luist4498/101_0003.jpg

how to fix baitcaster
Simple, you send it to reelmechanic on this forum!

T-rig weight?
Man, so much goes into this that it is hard to say! Lure/hook size, wind, fishes mood, cover, line/size. Let the fish tell you what they want. If you can get away with weightless, start there. If the fish are active you may need a bigger weight to trigger them. My most common rig when pitching to scattered cover is an 8" ribbon tail worm, 4/0 EWG hook, 17lb fluoro and a 3/16 oz Tungsten weight.

Rattlin' Rapalas
X2 I found that you have to bring them back at lightning speeds to get them to wobbl good! I like the Rat-L-Traps personally.

Found a boat at a yard sale. Opinions.
You can't go wrong for that price! The accessories are worth that much!!! CONGRATS

What can I do?
Yup, you sure can...........................put em right back where you found em, LOL! J/K, i doubt you could do much man. They are too short to fix and warranties apply to original owners(i think).
