  1. For jig fishing you really need a good sensitive strong rod. I would suggest saving a bit more and buying a Powell Max 705C. Definitely stay away from the H Mojo! It is a broom stick and has about the same sensitivity of one as well!
  2. Simple solution, don't get a back lash, LOL! I actually think the opposite of braid. It is much easier to Pick a backlash out with it! Braid is all i use for frogs in or near vegetation. I would pitch ribbon tail worms and craw lures with the smallest weight you can get away with. I have found that targeting isolated clumps of pads near main fields produce bigger fish. If the water is dark use scents and rattles and slow down the retrieve.
  3. None of those can produce as much noise and as many strikes as the Rage Toad IMO!!!!
  4. Dang Muddy, you da man huh!?! Im going to have to come fish with you too one of these days, LOL!!!!
  5. Only advantage i have found is the smaller sizes of the heavy flippin' weights! When using fluoro or braid i do not think they make a big difference in sensitivity!
  6. I could not agree more! I have always hated the shipping methods of BPS! If i order $50 worth of plastics i get charged like i am receiving a crate!!!!!
  7. I would use all natural colors like silver/white, watermelon, pumpkin etc. I would definitely use the Rage Tails too. Remember that in clear water you may need to stay back from potential spots and make longer casts to avoid spooking fish. Consider a Shakey head jig, finesse worm(in natural color) and some fluorocarbon line. GOOD LUCK
  8. My Spros will walk perfectly by just taking an inch off the legs!!
  9. THANK YOU Very well put................................
  10. It is too shallow only when you bottom out! Even than, keep casting..................

  15. NEVER outside of my own home! Even just one can put innocent lives in danger! I could not live with myself if i took somebody's mother, father brother etc because i wanted to drink!
  16. IMO, the Abu Garcia Revo S cannot be beat for the $! It can be had new for under $100 online!
  17. I washed one of mine that had it and it did come off! I noticed that the suns heat when they are on deck makes it peel as well! Wiping will eventually do it too. I am just going to leave mine alone from now on!
  18. BPS sinker stops as weight pegs(love em). http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44440____SearchResults Gamakatsu keel weighted hooks ShakE head jigs in all weights
  19. I am 25 and mine hurts once in a while from a car accident! I don't wear a brace but do sit down for breaks.
  20. I want to see them actually come through with this!!!!
  21. Spro and Rage Tail frogs/toads are by far the best imo! No other frog in their class performs as well! I always throw mine on 65lb FireLine braid and a H/F or better rod. Froggin excels in the slop and that is no place for sissy gear imo!!!
  22. I would recommend the Powell 766H personally! Also, Ebay has some Crucials right now!
