  1. I agree fully! You will have no issues pulling a boat man! I pull my bros 21ft Nitro with my 07' Silverado 2wd, no issues!!!!
  2. Did you pay new retail price? Is the reel working as expected from a new reel? How is the handle different from what you expected and how does it change the reel performance? Buying it unseen... buyer beware (and lower your expectations to a real-world level). A seller, per Ebay's rules should always describe the item he/she is selling 100%! If misleading a buyer about what you are selling is okay to you than i would not want to do any kind of business with you either!
  3. PM me with details! I am in Hardee, FL
  4. What state! If it is Jackson in Sebring, FL that is my brothers favorite bass lake! He gets em deep in the grass with Carolina rigs, Shakey head trickWorms, flukes around/under docks and deep cranks all in natural colors! BEST OF LUCK
  5. Adapt or switch partners!!!

  11. That is pretty messed up man! God knows what kind of reman or blem he is selling!!!!!
  12. I rarely need to control the spool with my thumb since I got my dual brake Patriarchs. I go fishing to fish, not to pamper a temperamental bait casting reel. x2. I can typically cast my Citica 201E without touching the spool. BTW, I just ordered the REVO STX. If I don't like it, I'll put it up for sale. Don't bother, if you don't like it PM me and i will take it! LATERZ
  13. NO, he will LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I recommend a Powell Max 705C for plastics and jigs. For $139.00, it cannot be beat IMO! Sensitivity is amazing and it has the strength to match! I found the Mojo is not a good choice for plastics because it is not that sensitive. If you will pick out of the two i would get the Avid.
  15. I just ordered two in HS man! For the price you will never look back!
  16. I've noticed that the formula for determining the surcharge is completely determined by how the person at the counter interprets it. Most of them charge me a standard $18-21 to ship, others seem confused by the formula and what exactly to measure and I wind up paying much less. It sounds like you've got some postal worker that doesn't understand the formula. I'd always make sure he/she was working when I shipped rods. It is not an employee error! Check the regulations for Priority and you will see.
  17. Lip less cranks will work when nothing else will!
  18. Well this was no fun!!!!
  19. The USPS here has different limitations than! I can ship up to an 8' rod with no surcharge. As long as it is Priority and not Parcel. I shipped one from FL to TX(7' 6") for $13.78 in a 2" PVC tube.
  20. Flippin' and Pitchin' dirty south style................................all day!!!! 8-)
  21. This from someone who has had his for 5 days! :
  22. The poll speaks for itself!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. +1 See? That's what I told you, Aaron! Rate of fall is one of the triggers of the reaction strike Many anglers think a silent approach when fishing grass is the proper approach; by that I mean they want the lure to fall quietly through the grass and come through the grass cleanly. My approach is to be noisy, that is I want my lure to cause a disturbance by moving grass as it falls and when its coming though the grass. Finally, someone with some punching know how! You are 100% right sir. Everyone who fishes with me try's to tell me i splash around to much when flippin'/pitchin'. But i am a firm believer that is what brings me more strikes. It's pretty dark in that slop and a quiet presentation will get you know where!
  24. I like your thinking man, LOL!!!
