Yup, those dragon flies make the bass get airborne,sometimes with a cart wheel thrown in. For what it's worth, River2sea tackle company makes a pretty cool loooking dragon fly lure.

Last year i started throwin' bigger baits and my observations are: - like Dan said, listening to your big plug get smoked by a Bass in the dark of night, now that'll make ya change your skivves! - Bass are like me at a buffet, My eyes are bigger than my stomach. They'll eat somethin' as big as they are. - Old school Bassin was all about using 5"jointed floating minnows,big black Jitterbugs (like EastMark said), Uncle Josh Porkers, 6"Zara Spooks. It seems there is a new rave about using big lures,but because we all went finesse for the last five years or so, we're coming full circle to more traditional size Bass lures IMO. 8-)

First I checked the FAQ's-not that I could find. So here I go with a small Rant! Purchased a few packs from Dick's Sporting Goods and put a few of each color in my Plano 3600. I use these boxes to carry my gear to a pond that I hike into. To my disbelief,in one overnight of being in this tackle box, the pumpkin w/ green flake bled onto some blue pearl w/ silver holo. I can't remember ever having one color bleed onto another senko that was stored in the same bag. Anyone else??? Thanks, Hookset

I've been bassin for 4 decades,so it happens a lot. I too have set the hook and the worm or lizard wizzes by my ear with a scrappy six bass. That's gumption for ya! I got to thinking, I don't ever recall catching a puny one on a jignpig. Dinks will hit plugs, big topwaters, huge plastics and so on. these guys probably live fast and die young.

Hello down in Mexico. Yeah Raul, those male bass had a year round growing condition. Up here in New England, we're luckly to get 5 months. Our males must really be dinks. To reach 4LBS. they need to live over 10 years up here.

Hello Mrlite tackle, I use Yo-zuri Hybrid and the guys at the factory told me to color the last 7 or 8 feet with a light pink marker. The reason being is that pink and red are the first colors in the spectrum that can not be seen the deeper you go. I have noticed a huge difference in the clear sheen my line used to give off, it is now almost invisible to my eyes in just 2 or 3 feet down.That is why Cajun Line and Ande line use light red and pink. As far as the odor, I just lather on some megastrike to the lure and line then I'm good to go. Hookset 8-)
