Bps Buys Ranger, Triton And Stratos Boat Companies
I knew they were expanding to the wildlife center, but the shape of what its looking like is pretty interesting. It looked to me like the front was an interesting shape that would fit nicely with a boat show room. Anyway, They are always doing something is right. I LOVE the ceiling they have above the check out, its so cool.

Lightest Power Rod You Use In Tournaments...
I just feel like a lot of people throw bigger baits for bigger fish for tournaments. I know some who do just go BIG for tournaments. It could be tournament or not I guess.

Lightest Power Rod You Use In Tournaments...
Like the question says, what is the lightest powered rod you use in Tournament fishing? I have an ultra light but have never brought it on the boat. Considering getting a Medium Light spinning rod for something like roostertails or small 1/8 oz jigs incase its a crazy tough day. Personally, I have a few medium powered rods that I take. Does anyone take an ultra light or light on your tournament outings?

Bps Buys Ranger, Triton And Stratos Boat Companies
The Bass Pro Headquarters in Springfield has been adding on right next to the fishing/boating area. I was wondering why they were adding on... I'm guessing they had been in talks and needed more room to put boats on the floor.

What Have Been Some Of Your Better Buys In Rods And Reels?
When I was fishing for my college, we got a discount from Daiwa and I got a TD Advantage Supertuned Baitcaster for around $100. Wish I would have gotten a few more. Its an unbelieveable reel.

What Inexpensive Lure Do You Use That Exceeds Your Expectation And Price Point?

Why Dosen't Bass Pro Carry New Companies
Yeah, All the Bass Pros I have been to are like that. At least they have some quality goods. There are too many companies out there to put in one store, unfortunately. Oh well, sometimes you gotta take a chance on fellow anglers perspectives and trust their reviews and opinions. Thats why Bassresource is so nice, we have so many good people to get reviews from.

Bass Pro Extreme Rods
Not sure if anyone has seen, but Bass Pro has their Extreme Rods for $59.99. I guess they are getting a new model in, I dont know, but my Bass Pro only had 15-20 rods in stock. I really like the Extreme Rods, and for $60, I find it really hard to beat. I picked up a 6'6" Medium baitcasting rod that Im gonna use for some topwaters, spinnerbaits and small T-Rigs. Anyway, I thought I would share in case anyone was looking for a new rod. My other Deal of the day was Spro Bronzeye poppers in Rainforest Black for $1.98 at academy.

Who Makes A Big Giant Football Jig?
Have you looked at the Buckeye Mop Jigs? They have 1/2 oz and 3/4 oz Football Jigs and the Living rubber gives it a VERY big profile. I put a full size paca craw on one.

Anyone Use A Leatherman Multi Tool?
I used on a few years ago. Not so much anymore. Wet fingers, and chewed fingernails makes it hard to open all those different things at times. The Boomerang cutter and a pair of pliers is normally the way I go.

Table Rock A-Rigs

Need Advice On What To Give A Guy For A Rod And Reel. Thanks
I think you are good either way. You already gave more than the asking price, but If you feel like you need to give them more, it would be an extremely nice gesture. Shoot, you could write down your adress and send them a Christmas card annonomously with a few extra bucks tucked into it. If you are questioning it, you will probably feel better if you do give them a bit more. You are a good man, sir.

So whats in everyone's line up? What do you take out on the water and what are they used for? Any left in the bullpen at home? I'm sure most of these posts will be long, but its always nice to see that we are not alone in our rod and reel addiction.

Your Most Versatile Rod?
6'6" Medium BPS Extreme. It was my second Baitcast rod. I use it for Spinnerbaits now, but I use to thow Jigs, T-rig, squarebills, topwaters, and a frog a few times. Its caught me a BUNCH of fish on a Bunch of different presentations, But now that I have a bunch of rods I love it with the spinnerbaits

Spinner Bait Rod
I have a 6'6" Medium Bass Pro Extreme Rod that I LOVE for spinnerbaits. its about 10 years old now but I could throw it all day. Its by far one of my favorite rods because it feels so right with the spinnerbaits. I don't fish anything over 1/2 oz on it, mostly throwing 1/4 or 3/8 oz.. And to add to what you were asking, I go baitcaster for spinnerbaits. Infact, the 5lb Smallie in my profile picture was caught on that rod.
