Finesse Jigging
Yep, just like any other jig. Finesse jigs are pretty rad. I like to put a more finesse trailer on at times too, like a Missile Baits Twin Turbo instead of a Paca Chunk.

Daiwa Tatula Grooving Issues
I am sure they will take care of you, but to answer your question, most warrenties are normally only though the original owner. Dont have any experience with that, but I am sure they will take care of you. No need to worry about grooving until it happens, which it may never do. A lot of people love that reel so I wouldnt be concerned about it.

Strike King River Bug Vs Big Bite Baits Yomama
Ive caught a bunch of fish on them as jig trailers. I guess I better get to walmart to see if I can find a few more packs before they are all gone.

What Happened To The Citica?
good to know. Oh well. They are new to me, haha

What Happened To The Citica?
I dont know. THe Metanium and Antares are both sold at Bass Pro, so I figured that they were USDM reels. Am i incorrect?

What Happened To The Citica?
Im interested to see what they do with the Citica too. Will it come out for the Bassmaster Classic or the Bass Pro Spring Classic? One thing I miss about Shimano is that they use to make all Spinning Reels with an S name and All Casting models with a C name. WHy did they stop?

How Much Do You Spend On Average A Year On Fishing ?
2014 was a crazy year for me. I got 8 New rods and reels. NEver more than 1 a year before that. Sooooo... That raised my average quite a bit...

Ardent Moving To China
I met the President of Ardent at the Spring Classic at the St. Charles (St. Louis) Bass Pro, when their first reel came out. I heard at least 5-6 people in half an hour tell him they would buy the reel just cause it was American made. And sure enough they did buy it. I was young and couldnt afford the $250 price. SO with the reel trade in, he said he would give me $40 to help buy the reel, in exchange for an email telling him how i liked it after I used it. He said he was sure I would be a customer for life if I tried it. The other Bass Pro guys at the reel counter were raving over the casting ability of the reel so I figured, with such a good deal, I would give that reel a go. At the end of they day the only other reel i was interested in was the Curado and SHimano didnt participate in the reel exchange so i decided to give Ardent a try. First outing I found out the drag was stripped. Sent it to them, got it back and its been a pleasure to use since. Thats been like 7years ago. Something like that. Its been great. Love the profile and especially the knobs on the handle. I have not since purchased another reel from them though. Partly cause the next reel I got was when I was on my college fishing club and we were sponsered by Daiwa. Sad to see them moving from MO to China. Oh well.

Will A Red Utility Box (Plano Style) Change Baits Colors?
Well, clear boxes dont have a color to bleed into the plastics haha. I just dont want the red to bleed into my baits and tint them pink.

Jigs ---- Should I Switch From 30# Suffix Braid And Go To Fluoro?
I would try an outting with a leader. Go a few hours with the leader and then take it off. if you got a few more strikes, then you may decide its worth the change. The managment of fluorocarbon compared to Braid and the strength of braid may not be worth it to you.

Will A Red Utility Box (Plano Style) Change Baits Colors?
I was at Academy this afternoon and saw a Coastal Conservation Association Plano style utility box. I was thinking, that would be a cool box for jigs, or terminal tackle or something, cause it stands out sooooooooo much. I ended up getting a 3700 and a 3600 size cause they were very cheap compared to other Plano/Flambeau boxes. The 3700 was $4.99 and the 3600 was $2.99. I do a lot of fishing with my uncle so I throw my boxes in with his quite a bit. If mine were red, it would be incredibly easy to pick out mine and quickly get what I need. Or for those who just keep their own there, it would be crazy easy to pick out your Terminal from the rest. Anyway, we have all seen that putting a junebug worm into a bag of watermelon worms will change the watermelon worms, this may be a dumb questoin, but do any of yall think the red plastic could change leak color into the jig skirts or into plastics if I put them in there? I just put a regular clearish plano divider into the red box to see if it changes it at all... Gonna put a light colored bait or two in there for a few weeks, just to test it out...

What Happened To The Citica?
Thats crazy. They dont have any Citicas on the Bass Pro Website either.

Green Pumpkin Vs. Watermelon Red
This is EXACTLY how I look at it. Brighter days or less stained water I will use Watermelon Red. On darker days or in stained water I go Green Pumpkin. However on a super clear lake I would rather throw the more natural Green pumpkin, instead of a watermelon red with a whole lot of flake. If I am not getting bit on one, there is a good chance the next color I put on is the other.

Bait Companies?
i feel like Strike King has the most diversity. Has its regular SK stuff, the KVD perfect Plastics, and then they added Rage Tail a few years ago. Good grief, you can get anything you want! They even have some of that Elaztech stuff! Cant go wrong with Strike King. That being said, I use a lot of Zoom, and Netbaits stuff too.

Organization
I keep all my soft plastics in their original bag and the ones i dont use, I put them in big rubbermade tubs based on style. Straight worms, ribbon tail worms, creatures, etc... If I were you, I would put a few of the plastics in your plano, keep the rest in the original bag so you remember when you have and what you need to get. When you need to put more in the box go for it. When you are all out, you have the empty bag to remind you what you need to restock with. Just an idea

Ribbon Tail Worm
I dont throw Ribbon Tail worms much, but when I do, I throw big ribbon tail worms when I am fishing deep. I would like to throw them more often, but I never think about it because I have a box of all kinds of other stuff I have a lot of confidence in.
-
Most Used Braid Color
Green. It was the only color available. And confidence because its the color of mono I originally started fishing with.

Power/action Of Rod More Important Than Brand
I think for fishing purposes the Power and Action are more important than the brand. To me, customer service and warrenty are by far two of the most important parts of the brand, when looking at rod.

Opinions About This Reel

Best Time To Use Craw Style Baits
Search on youtube and in google, Michael Murphy Crayfish. He fishes professionaly. Graduated from Purdue University and studied something like fishery biology or something like that. He did a crayfish study in college and has all kinds of info on them. Really interesting stuff. He talks about the coloring based on what they eat, where they live, time of year. All kinds of stuff. Super interesting.

Yamamoto Fat Ika
Do yall throw these on spinning gear?

The Benefits Of Realism?
Its an interesting thought. I have never thought about it like this. I think if they are hungry they are going to eat whatever, But maybe if they see something that is not so realistic and an interesting color, maybe they bite it out of curiosity. Who knows what those little jokers think.

Baby Bass Cranks
Manns, Bagley, Bomber and Storm Arashi cranks all have a baby bass pattern. The Storm Arashi is my favorite of those. Its not quite as realistic as the Rapala, but its pretty good. I like it more than the Yamamoto.
