The New Abu Garcia "ike" Rods Are On Tackle Warehouse!
They have the Composite Reaction Casting and the Regular casting. That has me a bit confused. Is the Composite Reaction like a cranking rod while the other just a regular graphite rod?

If You Could Clone A Bait
We all have an individual bait that seems to just work better than the rest. Two baits could look identica, however, one just seems to work better than any of the others. For me its an Albino Spro Frog. That frog just caught and caught fish. Ended up losing a leg. I got another frog and it worked, but didnt seem to get as many bites. I put a silicone leg on the old frog and Boom. Worked like a charm and caught a bunch of fish again. It seems to outperform every other frog. Do you have a lure you would like to clone cause it just works better than the rest, or is it all in my head?

Feathering Line When Using Baitcasters
I will lightly thumb the spool if there is strong wind, otherwise I rarely touch it until I want it to stop. I would suggest to always be aware that you do not overcast. If you throw it as hard as you can, there is a very good chance for a backash. Just an easy cast will get it out there good enough.

Using Braid For Soft Platics
I believe Bluebasser86 says that Braid with a Fluoro leader is the way to go for the Ned rig.

Favorite Jig ?
I really like the Hart Jigs you can find in the Bass Pro bargain bins. They were $1.50 a few years ago. I think they are close to $2.50 now. They are pretty nice jigs for a decent price. For $1.50 they were amazing. I dug through the bin for about 20 minutes a few years ago to get all the Green Pumpkin Blue jigs. Found about 15 or so. Glad I still have some of them, cause I cant find that color in the bin anymore

What Reel Has Been With You The Longest?
Ive got a Citica D, that Ive had for a while now. Its a beast of a reel. Feels like it will never fall apart. My only issue with it is a little too big for my small hands

Abu Garcia "ike Series Rods"
Yep he said $120 and he also said they should be out everywhere in mid Feb, around the time of the Bassmaster Classic

Am I The Only One?
I cant use a time on the microwave ending in a 0 or 5 (5,10,15, etc.) but this is a new one to me. Now knowing you feel that way you may have screwed me up on this.

Bps Xps Pro Wrap Handle Grip Wrap
I use Wilson Tennis Racket Grip Tape. Its pretty cheap and can be found at walmart. Its like 3 rolls for 2.99 or something. Some people have said that its not long enough, but it has been working for me. Ive had it on nearly all my rods, some for up to 3 years. You can also go on amazon and get different colors, which can help customize it, or make it easier to pick out a type of rod (Jigs-red, topwater- Green etc.) For longer handles you may have to combine 2. I try to use one for the handle, then cut a chunk off and use the other and use it on the foregrip. They look good, feel great, and are a cheaper solution.

Where Are The Sales?!?!?!
I didnt start going on TW until this past summer. Do they ever have a spring sale?

*new* Ardent Apex Grand
Looks like they have the EVA Grip knobs on the handle. Their original knobs on their first reel have been my favorite grips I have ever used. Wish they never changed them. Glad to hear some good stuff about Ardent again. If you get it make sure you throw a review on here about how it fishes!

Scored 16 Chatter Baits..
You could also use a sharpie to color the blades different colors too. If you are looking to customize a bit more. You have quite a stack to play around with. Gotta love great deals like that

Cabelas Super Magnum Bag For A Co-Angler
I have a Super Magnum, as it was a college tournament and my parter and I could only bring 1 bag each so we got the biggest bags possible. It holds an incredible amount of tackle!!!! I personally think it is too big for a coangler, but I can narrow down my tackle decently before I go. If you have a super magnum amount of tackle and have trouble narrowing down what you need, you could get it. But its gonna be a bear to get on the boat, find a spot for it, and lug too and from the car. I personally find mine to be more of a hassle and I will opt for a bag half the size most of the time. I typically will use the Bass Pro Red Extreme Qualifier bag, when I am a co angler and try to throw a worm binder or two on there with a carabiner. With all that being said... The Cabelas Super Magnum is an EXTREMELY nice bag (I feel like its much better quality than the BPS bag) However its size is just a little too much for me.

Reel For Flipping Stick. What Gear Ratio?
It was Hank Parker, not Shaw Grigsby. I get those jokers mixed up sometimes. Think its the stash.

Bps Pq News
Me too. I just wih Bass Pro had Lews reels. Really want another Lews

Reel For Flipping Stick. What Gear Ratio?
I had read an article from Shaw Grigsby that said he liked the Revo Winch reel, but I had seen quite a few people on here talk about higher speed reels for the flipping and pitching, which made me think... Thanks yall.

Reel For Flipping Stick. What Gear Ratio?
I have a flipping stick that I need a reel for. Not sure what to get. Im leaning toward a Lews. Biggest question, is what gear ratio? I know a lot of people talk about a high speed reel to get the bait in faster, but Ive also heard that the slower gear ratio is better cause it has the power you need to get the fish in. What do you prefer?
