Best Dark Water Baits
Firetiger or Chartreuse crankbaits are pretty good in dark water. I also really like throwing a big chartreuse spinnerbait with big blades. I like the Luck e strike Trickster spinnerbait cause it throws off a huge thump. Big Colorado or big Willows will also work.

Jika Rig Tips

Must Have Baits
I tell ya man, on a windy day throw a 1/4 oz booyah, terminator, war eagle, (brand doesnt really matter) tandem spinnerbait. If you fish really clear water I would probably go with a blue glimmer or white bait. In murky stained water I would go chartreuse white. Put some megastrike on the skirt and you will be good to go. Just keep a stready retreive and you should catch you some fish.

Skeet Reese Crankbait Rod Or Bass Pro Crankin' Stick
I really like Bass Pro rods. I would say they are one of the best values for rods that you can get. I really like the Crankin stick. I have used mine for both medium diving and deep cranking. I have a higher priced crankin rod for deep cranking now, but the Crankin stick did the job. I use it for a variety of things now like the C Rig, Square Bills, and ive used it for top water. I would def go with the Crankin Stick. If you are not in a rush, every once in a while they go on sale for 49.99 too.

What Trailers For Jigs Throughout The Year

Some New 1.5S
Nice! That top one is gorgeous!
-
Wacky Style Setup
I really like the kicker fish bait weedless wackey worm. It looks really goofy, but its pretty awesome. The bigger one is thick enough that you can fish it on a baitcaster really easily. the smaller one I always fish on a spinning rod though

Must Have Baits
1/4 oz or 3/8 oz chartreuse and white tandem blade Booyah spinnerbaits always catch me fish. I also like trick worms, finesse worms, or cintepeedes on Spot Removers for shakey heading. Those cheap Hart jigs are pretty rad too. I really like the way they fish. Gotta have a Spro Bronze Eye frog as well. Rage Craws, Rage Smokin Rooster, and Rage Space Monkeys are all really Rad too.

Favorite Place To Buy Tackle?
The closest store other than walmart for me is Bass Pro, with the Bass Pro Outlet right next door. Boy have I ever cleaned up at the Bass Pro outlet over the years. I really enjoy going to small tackle shops though. Its fun to see smaller local brand things and getting things you cant get anywhere. As for Walmart, my fishing partner found about 15 packs of the good Pro Model Spot Removers for $1.00 each a few years ago. You can find some awesome deals there. Anyway, people will post about good deals on here too, which is always awesome

Walmart Lure Extravaganza
I went to two walmarts and i had to search one of them. They had Yum Money Hounds and Money Frogs and Mighty Craws too. Thats what I ended up getting most of, but I like the nice little Rebel Square bills
-
Cold Water Cranks?
I would try the Wiggle Wart. Great bait in early spring with cold/chilly water

H20 Xpress Mettle Or Daiwa Laguna Baitcaster?
the Mettle has a Lifetime warranty, which is a nice little bonus, if you were unaware. Ive read good things. I think I will head to an academy pretty soon to pick one up

H20 Xpress Mettle Or Daiwa Laguna Baitcaster?
Same thoughts here. I want a backup just in case something happens to a favorite. Those are the two I am lookin at as well!

Walmart Lure Extravaganza
I saw that too. I think my favorite thing I got there was a small white rebel Wee-R squarebill. I got a few to customize with some sharpie

Fishing Jersey
I was on a college fishing team and we had jerseys that had plenty of sponsors. They were pretty cool. Now that I am graduated sometimes I will still wear the jersey when im fishing just cause its the most comfortable thing to wear. Its crazy light weight, if it rains it dries in like 5 minutes. Its pretty Rad. If I were to put a sponsor on a jersey now I would ask local places as you said. Post a picture when you get it!

Getting Started On Spinnerbaits
I think my most productive bait is a 1/4 oz chartreuse white booyah tandem blade. That is the one bait i would recommend to anyone when looking to catch some fish. Im not worried about what brand I use most of the time. I like the smaller 1/4 oz over the 3/8 or 1/2 because i feel like the smaller size draws quite a few more strikes. That lure should help you develop some confidence in a spinnerbait. I don't use a trailer hook most of the time. I had a few short strikes last time I threw it, but after putting a bit of megastrike on it they started slamming it. Another color I really like is Blue Glimmer. Most people will use a colorado blade or BIG willow in dirty water, but I really like the Luck 'e' Strike Trickster. If you are fishing in really dirty water, throw that bait and fish will come looking to see what is throwing off that thump.

What Did You Buy Today!?
I got another tube of Megastrike so i can use it a little more generously and not worry about running out
-
Crankbait Depth And Different Line
Floro sinks so it will get deeper than mono, but mono has that little more of a stretch which I prefer when throwing cranks. thats something you need to think about too
-
The Bait Monkey Is Raging
I am worried they will be ripped up pretty quick as well. I like the Anaconda because they last pretty well for me. Its nice on long worms cause they can get shorter and still work. You can also use that as a senko if the tail gets ripped off. Those Recons look nice. I wanna get some menaces for jig trailers though. Almost picked up some shell crackers today

Killer Tube Rig
That is actually the reason i was concerned about trying it.

Killer Tube Rig
I have actually thought about trying something similar to this, but putting the weight on the offset shank near the top. Gonna try this for sure!
