@FryDog62 The Xpress Hyper-Lift Hull is a pad hull like a glass boat. The only aluminum hull close is Vexus. If I remember correctly @J Francho is running one or has resentsly ran one.

The bass do not morph into a new creature just because the sun set. Neither does their pray! As mentioned above we're looking for windows of opportunities that are constantly changing. Day or night; location then timing. Ya can't catch what ain't there.

Moon rise & moon set, major time periods. Moon directly over head & moon directly under foot, minor time periods.

@Zcoker My biggest bug issue is Deer Flies, them little suckers bite harder than a mosquitos. On Toledo we have some little grey bugs that will swarm you, completely ingulfing you. Good thing is any wind stops em!

No sir 😉 During daylight anglers pay attention to daybreak, mid-day, & sunset. At night anglers pay attention to moon rise, directly over hear, & moon set. Those three moon time periods can occur during the day. Lot has been written about best times to fish...there they are. Oh! By the way it matches your tidal movements. Tidal anglers are fully aware of those three time periods. Even in non-tidal waters you should be paying attention.

I'm old school, I let my line, rod, & reel's drag work in unison.

@Bazoo This is how I hold my rod-n-reel, from the reel seat to the butt of the rod is against my forearm. That never changes! I either boat flip em, thump em with my right hand, or net em with my right hand.

I keep my thumb & index finger on a handle knob. If I need to apply more pressure with my rod or the bass surges I kinda "palm" both knobs. I don't want the reel to torque at all. The reel is palmed in my left hand.

Bass 😉 Other than a Snagless Sally I don't normally use a trailers. Occasionally a single tail grub.

I have confidence in my ability to locate bass. I will catch em by whatever means necessary.
