  1. Sorry been in the hospital
  2. Latest Just talked to the surgeon who did the biopsy, said he did two & neither appeared to be cancer.
  3. Latest update: antibiotics are working slowly. Draining not worth the risks involved. Staying over night for observation.
  4. It must have Tabasco on it 😉 @JHoss nailed it pretty hard Next after location is timing; just because you don't get bite does not mean the bass aren't there or you tied on the wrong lure.
  5. Every lure is capable of producing your personal best Location + timing Not location + lure
  6. Absolutely true! It's about locations, not lures

It's easy now! During the early tournaments B.A.S.S. only paid first place & there wasn’t any sponsors.
  8. Appears to be fluid build up around where the surgery was done & maybe cleared up with antibiotics.
  9. Released one week ago today, re-admitted last night!
  10. Mostly Tackle Taik Live with Steve Graf & Kevin Jean, known of both of them their entire careers. They cover Toledo Bend & Rayburn extensively by interviewing local tournament anglers.
  11. @12poundbass I raised 4 sons & 1 grandson, they do help keep you young. @Swamp Girl I've always gravitated towards people 10+ years older the me, i didn't talk a lot, but i definitely listened. 100% had the same advice...stay as active as possible.
  12. 100 steps 10 times a day 😉 Doesn't sound like much but given my diagnosis it's huge. As I've gotten older i've worked harder to stay mobile.
  13. Long before Flourcarbon, Copolymore, Monofilament all we had was braided lines. I've fished braided Cotton, Dacron, Micron, Suture Material (Silk), Micro Dyneema®, Kevlar, & Spectra. In the early 60s I was a desk hand on a Charter Fishing Boat in the Gulf of America. Once back in Port my job was to dry all the line on a couple dozen reels.
  14. I'm this old 😁
  15. @Swamp Girl No ma'am 😉 I didn't eminently see the tag, in the top picture was how I held the fish up for my buddy Mike to photograph, I was going to chunk back. As per the rules I cut the tag off & put in my wallet & forgot about. When I walked into Fin & Feather's office I told the girl I caught a tagged fish, she casually says ok. Reach in my wallet, pulled the tag out, the girl freaks saying you caught a truck. I said what, she says they're color coded, turn the tag over. I sold the truck before ever taking possession, the check was in my pocket in that picture. I didn't pay for lunch or supper the rest of the week, shook a lot hands.
  16. 2019 trip to Toledo Bend, well two days in & only 3 fish ? But one was tagged BassCashBash which I was registered in, it won me a 2019 Dodge Ram
  17. Yes sir, totally confirmed
  18. After my diagnosis the range of emotions has been unbelievable. Then I realized yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't promised, we have today. Just like before! This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
  19. It ain't the arrow...it's the Indian 😉 I still hunt with a recurve bow, a 30/30, a 12 ga 2 3/4" shell, Berkley Big Game, straight shank round bend hooks. I guarantee y'all that shimano/diawa will not put an additional bass in the boat. You wanna prove it, take a kid fishing they'll embarrass you every time.
  20. You will not find pure anise oil over the counter, you will have to get from a pharmacy behind the counter. Everything else is essential oil, cooking oils, extrate, or some other kind of flavoring. Don't know the name brand I have a friend of mine's daughter works for Albertsons & orders it for me. It's about $25-30 an oz. There was a time most plastics contained anise.
  21. Still ain't 100% pure anise oil

I seldom if ever throw a lizard on a Carolina Rig, instead I throw a French Fry
  23. Catt replied to BrianMDTX's topic in Fishing Tackle
One double digit sealed the deal for me Banjo Minnows were never more than a sales gimmick @BrianMDTX Now is when I throw lizards, Texas Rigged, 1/8-1/4 oz., bank shallow out to 10'.

How does one verify which profile is more effective? The lizard has remained relevant over the years because it produces. I caught bass on lizards when nothing else would. To me profile is like color, it matters when it matters!
