robo work on ds, shakey head, lc pointer 78 in ghost minnow, jig with paca chunk...great action on the paca craws and chunks by the way...for some of you that dont wanna spend the extra $$on the rage tails check these out....not as good but a decent cheap alternative..

i always care what i look like, you never know when an opportunity will present itself. I dress for the weather, but i always have on clean clothes that are in good shape. i like to be clean and look good...a good rain suit is a must and if you get a good one it will look good to...just all depends on the person..

like stated above..fishing is just part of the buisiness..those guys do alot of work for their sponsors, they help develop new products, promote products, test products. Well known bass fisherman, especially someone like kvd are marketing machines...his name on a product will sell it to some, just because his name is on it...when they fish, they dont just fish, they have to deal with the public and keep a good image so they keep a good name for their sponsors...if im fun fishing it is usually practicing for a tournament...i love the competition, but tournament purses mainley go towards funding my hobby..if my fishing pays for itself then i feel like i have done a good job...

15lb seaguar fluro for light cover, 20-25 lb seaguar fluro for heavy cover...the berkley fluro has also been good for me...not a limp and soft as the seaguar but seems to be very strong

a friend of mine recomended the bass pro shops braid...has anyone tried this?

if they are soft plastics...night time is a good time to try them out...catch fish on them at night and it will give you the confidence in them to try em in the day time...

case is kinda like a medium sized company...they are not huge like zoom but they sell baits in several different states i think they are based here in va bu im not sure... i really like there flukes...they are called a case sinking minnow, they have and excellent action..

we really need to know what kind of water you are going to be fishing in order to give some good detailed tips..green pumkin is a good color that will cover most conditions...i would get trick worms, some kind of 4-5 inch finesse worm, some type of senkos, a bag of flukes in smokin shad or pearl, and some rage tail craws... is there some reason you only want to know good baits for texas rigging? i would deff pick up some shakey heads if you havent tried them and some dropshot weights...these two techniques will catch fish when nothing else will...

if i were sinking COVER around docks i would probably drop it somewere in front of the dock off the deep end...i typically dont make my piles near docks though...i like to put them off of points or in other places like that...the docks already provide a good bit of cover so it would probably be more benificial to drop the cover some where else

i always just try to be confident in the fact that im going to have a good time..if im on the water i am happy, catching fish is just another added bonus to enjoying the outdoors...

there is no comparison between the mojo and the shimano crucial...the crucial is a way better rod...they are way more sensitive and have better components...awesome rods...the mojo has a really junky reel seat/and the part that holds the reel to the rod is plastic...yuck!!the mojo i have is ok..i was kinda dissapointed with it..they are nothing special...decent for the money i guess..but if i was looking for a rod in that price range i would get a shimano compre or the falcon...maybe i am biased but the shimano rods are the best for the money in my opinion..

if im fishing a team tournament with someone and i split the costs with them...then im going to have some time on the front if i feel its needed...some people just run the boat diff, and one guy i fish with sucks at it and thinks he has to run it all the time...i basically told him if he wanted me to fish with him hes gonna have to let me run the boat some...if i pay money to fish a team tourney with someone im not gonna let them waste my money just because we are not in my boat....i just assume fish alone if someone is going to try and back seat me....now if im fishing a tournament as a co-angler when im not fishing with or against the boater thats a different story...they have the right to run the boat...they paid more to do so and they are entitled to the front....big differance in being a co-angler and fishing in a team tourament...if i was fishing as a co-angler and the pro told me not to cast till he caught five i would prob tell him where he could stick it...he has the front of the boat...there is no reason for them to tell you not to cast till they have there limit..thats just them being rude and inconsiderate...

i think it best serves me with bodies of water that i have never been on and product reviews...its always great to be able to ask people if they like something before buying it...especially if its something expensive..

im getting ready to go to the potomac in a few weeks and will be using braid for the first time in a long time also...would you guys recomend a fluro leader or just tie straigt to the hook??i would like to use the smallest weight that i can safely pull fish from the slop with??what weight would you recomend...and is the spider wire braid any good? skeet seems to like it lol..

there is a company around here called et baits that has some good soft plastics...a friend of mine knows the owner of the the company and says if you get in good with him you can get some stuff made that is softer than normal or vice versa...i like plastics that are good and soft for some reason...the fish seem to like them better and i think it changes the action a bit on some of the baits...the et string bean works good as a shakey head worm...its kinda like a long skinny senko

yeh the trion is what im reffering to...can find any pflueger rods that are 7 6 that are telescopic at the butt...idk...cant even find an old review on it...

apparently this is a fairly rare rod....cant find any info on it
