  1. I have and love this one, but it's in camo. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_69143_425011000_425000000_425011000_425-11-0
  2. Holy crap...
  3. Why would you list it then, I believe you have been misinformed. I had Compre in both BC and spinning and I would not consider them whippy at all. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1258865175 Leo, I heard someone say HIS Compre was whippy. And I posted that before I heard that. Is the spinning 6'8" MXF a little stiff? That's what I want.
  4. Thanks, I heard the Compre's are whippy, which I hate > Might have to go with the Mojo. Any other thoughts? I definitely want to feel them all before I buy one.
  5. Nice fish! What plastic was it?
  6. HAHAHAHAHA maybe so, but my car is d**n purty.
  7. This is officially the sexiest car on planet Earth. http://images.thecarconnection.com/med/chevrolet-camaro-black-sema-concept_100187716_m.jpg
  8. Compre: whippy? I've never held one or seen one but I'm most likely getting one. Are they really whippy? That's not at all what I want in my next rod.
  9. As many of you know, I'll be in the market for a new set of rods in the upcoming year. I wanted to do a little "survey" to see which you would choose for a given situation. 1. (Baitcaster) What rod would you pick for pitching jigs in and around cover, like docks, timber and laydowns. A. Shimano Compre 7' MHF B. Abu Vendetta 7' MHF C. Abu Vendetta 7'3" HXF D. Powell 705c Mag Heavy 2. (Spinning) Which rod would you choose for fishing 5-6" Senkos, small Texas Rigs, Flukes and finesse jigs? It will mainly be used for Senkos though. A. Shimano Compre 6'8" MXF B. St. Croix Mojo 6'8" MXF C. Abu Vendetta 7' MF D. Abu Vendetta 6'6" MHF Thanks!
  10. Sahara 2500 with 10 lb P-Line CX, and a 7' M rod.
  11. Berkley Big Game 15# Mean Green Yeah buddy! However I have the clear. I really like it
  12. Also, get flippin' jig heads instead of footballs, they won't get hung up as much.
  13. Try pitching the jig around the base of the stumps. I have caught some giants that way. Use the braid you have and a dark colored jig. The payoff could be nine pounds
  14. Man, you catch some nice fish. You have a Pond Prowler (or something like it) right? How do you like it?
  15. Just picked up 900 yards of Big Game and a spool of CX Premium. I already like the Big Game, and I think I like the CX Premium. Any thoughts on these lines? I know a lot of people really like the Big Game, but I've never really heard anything about the CX. BTW the Big Game is 15 lb for my baitcasting outfits, and the CX is 10 lb for my spinning.
  16. Hey guys, I have some sweaters that I want ya'll to check out. They're good for fishing, shopping, or just sittin' by the fire. I wear them all the time to school and fishing, and they're really nice looking. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10203231_625001003_625000000_625001000_625-1-3 http://www.columbia.com/mens-sweaters-shirts/men-shirts-sweaters,default,sc.html?sz=1&start=8
  17. That Compre/Sahara combo would fit the bill nicely. Yes, yes, YES!
  18. a 6'8" MXF Mojo Bass Spinning Rod, a Shimano Sahara 2500, and 6 lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid
  19. This is the one I have: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Handycam+DVD+Camcorder+with+2.7%22+Wide+Touch+Panel+LCD+-+Black/9178061.p?id=1218046366905&skuId=9178061
  20. Hey guys, I have a Sony Handycam DVD camcorder (actually it's my dad's) that I'm just gonna start using. Now I don't really know much about them (other than being a creative 15 yr. old) and want to make fishing videos and the like. The camcorder seems to only take DVD's to make videos, but I want to make them on memory sticks. We have an 8gb. Is that too small and I just need to get a bigger one? If not and I have to put the vids on DVD's, will I be able to put them on Youtube?
  21. I basically use a natural colered jig all the time
  22. I was thinking about the racks, and they're different. Also I drove past it again and it was much smaller than I had originally thought.
  23. I'm not hunting it, it's just such a majestic, beautiful animal. And I'm actually pretty sure it wasn't mine! Thank God!
  24. I was on the way to school today and we passed a dead buck on the side of the road, which closely resembled the deer I always encounter at my fishing hole. It's an 8 pointer, not really mature, but has really good tine length. probably score 140 B&C. I really hope that wasn't him. I see him so much I call him mine, and he's got quite the personality too. The more I think about it, a 140 class buck living in the small woods around neighborhoods and big roads is a hell of a deer. I really hope that wasn't him! I haven't even hand fed him yet!
  25. Also note how old that buck is. They must have a great conservation plan. The mass on the main beam tines is unbelievable.
