Spinnerbait Trailer Questions
I fish from the bank and I'm going to try spinnerbaits this year. Should I use a trailer like a grub on the spinnerbait? How effective are trailer hooks? Do I need them?

Using O Rings
I use O rings from TW and their tool to get them on. They fit Senkos perfectly. Have not noticed a difference with or with out other than I can get 5 or so more fish with the O Ring. It's a durability thing. TW has cheaper tools or you can use a pen. The screw lets you adjust the tool for 4,5,6" worms. Just stick the worm in and slide the O Ring over it. Rings are pretty cheap. When the Senko starts to rip I take the ring off to use again. http://www.***.com/Wacky_Tool_Accessories/catpage-WKYTL.html Place *** where the 3 *s are in the link. Don't know why the proper link did not upload.

What's This New Rig Called The Drop Shot?
I fish from the bank and never fished drop shot before now. Thanks to some good advice from a thread I posted recently I caught my first bass on a drop shot with a roboworm. Caught a trolling male off a spawn bed yesterday too. Drop shot has been added to my arsenal.

Fluoro Line Twist On Spinning Reel....help
Thanks for the input. I spool it counter clockwise coming off the spool which I lay flat on the ground. I think some KVD line conditioner and taking some line off the spool might help. Otherwise I'll just take enough off to use the fluoro as backing and go with my AN 40 which has given me no problem over the years. The reel,is smooth and I don't think the Pflueger is the problem.

Fluoro Line Twist On Spinning Reel....help
After reading all the great things about Pflueger spinning reels, I bought a new Pflueger Supreme 8230 that I spooled with Sunline Super FC Sniper 8# line. I am getting line twists. My other 2 spinning reels are Shimano 2500 Saharas one with 20# braid and the other with 8# AN40 copolymer. In 3 years I've never had any line twists with these 2. I spooled the Pflueger to the same spot on the lip with the line as my other two reels. Any suggestions on eliminating the line twists? I close the bale manually. Is fluorocarbon not suited for a spinning reel or is 8# fluoro too thick? Should I cut back some off the line so I have more spool lip showing? Any help would be appreciated.

Yum Craw Bug
I fish them post spawn on a Tx Rig 1/8 weight with a 1/0 Gamagatsu EWG or on a 1/8 oz jig head. My buddy uses a 1/8 oz tube jig head that works too. Jerk them on the bottom and you'll get hit.

How Do You Guys Stock Your Bank Back Packs?
I use the H2O XPRESS® Pro Tackle Bag http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-pro-tackle-bag/pid-521801?color=Blue&N=4294713062+10001&Ntt=Fishing+bags&Ntk=All I can put 2-3 small Plano boxes in the side pockets and then I put soft plastics in Ziploc Snack bags 6 1/2" X 3 1/4" I put 4 plastic baits in each bag and they are so small when you compress the air out, you can carry a good selection and different colors. I put them in the main zipper compartment which is really deep.

Anyone Almost Exclusively Fish Soft Plastics?
I fish mainly ponds. I use all sorts of plastics from worms to Craws to creatures to swimbaits etc. I go Trigged, jigs, drop shot, and weightless. I have some frogs, spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, and poppers for certain conditions but 90% plastics. Just sold some crankbaits and jerkbaits on eBay.

Silver Thread
I use the AN40 on my spinning reels that don't have braid. I've used it for 4-5 years. If you go to their website they describe the difference. It casts a mile. http://www.silverthread.com/ Silver Thread Excalibur the strongest, most abrasion-resistant copolymer line on the market, period! If you're looking for a line to withstand the punishment big fish can dish out in heavy cover, this line is it. Developed by polymerizing multiple nylon monomers, Silver Thread Excalibur is stronger and more stable. Plus, its diameter is consistent throughout the entire spool. What does this mean to you? Better quality, innovative technology and the best heavy-duty fishing line available. Silver Thread AN40 was developed with the stealth approach in mind. Designed with an incredibly small diameter, this line can really cover the distance. The AN40 formula is very limp and supple, making it a favorite among fishermen. If you require long casts and low underwater visibility to get close to the fish, look no further than AN40.

Santone Lures Jigs
If you use rattles on your jig their Rattlin' Jig is really good. Lots of different sizes and colors to choose from if you go to their website. TW only carries selected sizes and colors. Sounds like a weird color but Fouzman is my favorite. Just an alternative to Siebert jigs which are the best around.
