  2. tx. rigged or carolina rigged colors for me green punk. and black or white, best time spawn time get them lizards in the beds and the bass will kill that thing thinking its coming in to feed on the eggs
  3. id go with an abu garcia revo sx reel you can find them pretty much everywhere for 150-170,either that or shimano curado...go to your local bps pick them up and get a feel for both as for a rod you can try out the st.croix mojo bass rod for 100 and at bps they got a huge fathers day sale going on so might be able to get it for less otherwise try one of the bps rods out i have a few of theyre extreme rods that work fine for me never had a problem.
  4. i hear ya,thats why alot of places are sold out of them i was looking to get a few to fish and a few like you to collect. was just wondering how they did in the water thats all but thank you,btw how does that "wing bag" or whatever they call it in the front function?
  5. i like the kvd swimjig in sexyshad color gets me more bites and hits that and green punk.,i also like maken my own jigs with some zonked rabbit hair and a little bit of fly fishing flashy streamer, gives the fish something they never see.

  10. thats what im tryn to say be happy with what ya got and for those that can get it,ok heres a cookie.i was just saying by some big top brands maken a subpar price tag rod it would make "some" people happy, besides sooner or later theyre gonna have to with this awesome econmy we got going on.sooner or later we might all be using a stick and string so be glad haha.
  11. power pro all the way and between braid or flour depends how clear is the lake your fishing?and is it pressured water (heavily fished by 100 of other guys).but i flip with 30-40 lb power pro braid and pull the fish in and the 15lbs of junk hes living in,for flour trilene 100% flour all the way or if you want do a spool with braid and a flour leader, ill do that at times with a 15 lb flour leader no problems there either
  12. another reel thats super small easy to handle and palm and can handle those weights and still haul in huge fish is the pflueger summit i have a few and love them for the lightness of the reel,id stay in the shimano, abu, pflueger and some daiwa family though but just go to your lacal fish shop and feel out the reels narrow it down then ask the counter guys whats best for yout type of fishing
  13. the president is a great reel at a great price i have a few for ultralight setups, also have the supreme xt that i love, also cant beat shimanos new propulsion setups ,or try daiwas tierras i like those to.
  14. then the ultimate would be try and machine some new handles with a carbon fiber inlay, but i suck at a lathe/machineing so....anytakers haha
