Everybody has an opinion but man some of those numbers were staggering. 75K? that's crazy unless you have the extra money to do it. Those who borrow to the max to do it well.... that's another story . In our day it was a decent looking wedding but everyone pitched in and the reception was sort of a pot-luck type of afair.

The oldest has been engaged and decided to get married in July. The middle one has been engaged and has now picked a year from May. The 3rd oldest is getting engaged this weekend. I just don't get it. I've tried it several times and consider myself fairly computer savvy. Can you only search one geographical area at a time? It has to be the most unfriendly user interface that I know of. If I want to buy a fishing reel I want to check all states not just mine. I honestly haven't looked a lot but what am I missing? I think this the same guy that I saw on an outdoor channel a while back. Homeowners and private lake asso's hire this guy to remove their snapping turtles. This guy is friggin nuts. He is also either pretty careles or very good.... did anyone else happen to notice at about the 1/2 way point how close he had the turtle to him during a yell? The point of aim for the turtle made me break out in a sweat!!! lol The turtle took another shot right after that seemed way too close for comfort. He's been bitten 17 times? quote " they cut and cut deep" :o

Great pic's man I wish I could shoot half that good. The movie "The Birds" just scared the crap out of us as kids. It was creepy but an excellent movie.

What happened to Syr's big man? When did it happen? I don't follow it that close as you can see but I filled out a bracket this year just for the heck of it.

I'm sure every area of the country can be quite different but $9.1k for a pre-school seems way high unless we are talking Ivy league pre-school. Most pre-schools I've seen are simply play time and color time and story time. I can see both sides to the public / private issue. Often private schools around here lack some of the modern ammentities ( computer labs vs 1 per class ex ). Many private schools pay much less than the public schools. Some private schools here though do very well for much less money $4K for a very nice high school. All that aside the public schools in my town are very good and highly respected. The parents are very involved. As far as diversity I think it could be overrated. You can learn it and deal with it when you are older and mature enough to deal with it. As Hookem pointed out though even that can be overcome. Then again the temptations and attitudes of a bad school are bound to be more challenging. In short I think it has a lot to do with the public schools in your area. Just do your homework with open eyes.

Despite world series or pennants there appears that apprx 10,000 MLB fans / yr think that there is only one "real" MLB team in Chicago. Even in a World Series winning year. The #16 seed is 0 - 100 against the # 1 seed in the tny. That was my first thought. Then again some of the 16 seeds are only there because of conference tny etc. Thus a potential higher seed might be sitting on the sideline or the odds of a 16 winning would improve with some of the bubble teams in their place. Man I was wanting to ask this same thing. Not sure yet what I'm going to do. This thing just seems creepy to me. Why do they need names it's none of their business who lives here. They already have that information on tax returns. There ought to be one and only one question on it. " How many U.S. citizens or legal U.S. residents live at the address?" Anything other questions ought ot be optional. Towns shouldn't get credit for population for non U.S. citizens. That might change their stance on the contoverisial legal situations. FFI

Perhaps though for the best outcome you could make an offer: He can come back with certain goals. 1) apologizes to the family 2) agrees to get tested ea month or something, 3) enters re-hab and sticks with it 4) any violation and he is immediately kicked back out Get buy in from the wife and make sure the people who need to know the plan. 5) etc The time is ripe as it just happened and it appears to be the first offense. Well maybe some good news! Short version- at the suggestion of something we found out they changed my daughter's medication. It is way way too early to tell but for now she is able to eat w/o feeling bad for the first time in 10years. That helps that part we just don't know if it will solve the cyclic part where she gets very sick. It will take more like 2 months to know if it will ward of a hospital stay. It will take 2 or 3 years before we could be comfortable that it will work for the long run. We belive this has been around that long just in a milder form vs the last 3+ years of hospital stays. Fingers crossed! Thanks for all of your good wishes & prayers. P.S. my future fishing buddy is doing great. He's almost doubled his weight in a little over 7 weeks

Even being the Illini fan that I am I've got to disagree on the Weber deal. Weber's national tittle team was a hand me down from Self. I'm not sure that it wasn't even a hand me down from Lon Kruger(?) Weber has had a lot of trouble keeping the top Illinois players from leaving the state. His team seems to be in constant turmoil. I get tired of him being in the media and whining all the time about the players not buying in etc etc. I think he is just mediocre. No disrespect to your post

Man I can't stand clowns like that ( the ones planting Trojans ). Glenn should have given the person an all expense paid trip the the BR roadtrip ( one way ticket of course). He then should have done a bulk buy on large trebel hooks and handed them out to everyone but that person. Let's just say their trojan planting days would come to an abrupt end! If they don't have already, they should have laws for this. I have always said that they need to string these people up by their %^$&^%$ and put them on public display!
