Anyone noticed that ever since the Redskins made that move for the retired offensive coordinator ( or whatever it was ) they have been competitive with about everyone?

This is an extremely tough task. You can't blame them for it. Blame the idiot who was rasing Aisian carp too close to the river that got loose during the high water. Then again maybe maybe the someone booted it if they had to issue a permit(?)

I used to deal with a lot of fragile items being shipped ( electronic pc boards ). 99% of the time the broken or damaged items are strictly related to bad packaging. Many am shippers don't even go so far as using peanuts. We viewed peanuts as substandard as the item tended to settle and before long the peanuts were not protecting the item. We foamed everything from a liquid with a plastic liner and never had a problem. Point being most of the above items were improper packaging as I read them. That is not the carrier's fault it is the packager. Now if they break a heavy walled pvc tube then that is a different story. I am a little rusty but I believe the person who originated the shipping needs to file the claim but the receiver needs to help by taking pictures for the originator. JMHO FFI - AKA Matt Crum

Yep I live within minutes of Peoria. I even have a picture on my phone of those guys fishing with cross-bows and the pic has them jumping all around the boat.

Man I had checked several days in a row and none were sold out. I think I last checked late yesterday but maybe not the AV's. Once out of the bag they go quick.

Good point well put. No absolute right's or wrong's all opinions are valid. It was one of those should I reply or just let it drop. At the last minute I changed my mind for some reason and posted.

Fenwick is launching the new line of HMG's and Techna AV's Cabela's has the previous version HMG's on sale for $59 The Techna AV's are on sale mostly for $129 I think one 6' med model is on sale for $99 P.S. Appears to be plenty of stock or at least none say sold out. I bought my 7' HMG before I posted this ;D Happy shopping

I had a pretty good feel for how it worked as it isn't all that complicated. I just didn't know on the sellers end what implications ( besides the obvious ) that might be involved. I rated it and told them within it and the mandatory subsequent feedback that I was kind of on the fence ratings-wise between neutral and neg. Several have said give them a chance to make it right first and fix the problem. Fix what? I believe the reel is ok. What is there to fix? I didn't want money. Do you think I was going to send it back and have them re-pack it? Like I said had they just "said we booted this one glad it was unbroken" I think they would have mitigated the negative rating all by themselves. I'm glad they reacted like they did as I will never do business again with someone who acts like that. Not to mention it was one toned down apologetic rating out of what thousands? I don't see the major issue on there end. Let me ask a question... Lets say you are a future buyer from them and are thinking of buying a $500 fragile item. Wouldn't you like to know that they might tend to package EXTREMLY poor? The main reason I chose negative was to bring the attention to it that I thought the poor quality deserved. Just my .02

15%? so it is 85%empty? Man the fish ought to be easy to catch assuming you can get to them. We've been wet all summer. One stump that I fish is usually 3-5ft out of the water by July. It hasn't even sufaced this year, hard to find in fact is it is fairly deep. It hasn't rained in 3 days now(?) and I still have standing water in my back yard. We actually saw some sunshine last Wednesday

I would assume that is what it is for? I think it was on sale for $79 or $99? on fri only

Dan, I've had a Tom Tom for about a year and it is excellent. I've got spoken street names but not traffic alert stuff as I don't really need that in my area. As far as POI's why all the fuss? Unless you will be creating your own my come built in and no need to save them. I'm sure it is not every POI but plenty. Unless you are traveling all over the country daily who cares about POI's that you will use maybe 3x a year? We bought one for 2 of the kids from Wallyworld yesterday for $59 ea

2 Tom Tom GPS's for $59 ea My parents bought one as well. I showed them how to use it when we got home and they loved it. P.S. If I hadn't had my 70 yr old mother with me I could have been in & out in 5 min's but mom wanted to shop so I obliged.

I think the Illinois river has been at flood stage since around Christmas of last year.

Micro hit it right on the nose. Also re the whole torque deal, torque might be irrelevant as your drag setting would come into play before you had to worry about torque. ???
