  2. Congrats!!! I had my first (boy) kid a week ago and I still can't believe I'm a dad. They are truly a miracle. Enjoy.
  3. I've had good sucess with shakey head worms and craw pattern cranks. Definately cant go wrong with some tubes.
  4. Cool story! amazing to think after you hooked him once he went in the same directions you did and then got hooked up again. I guess it wasn't his day. I wonder if he would have bitten it if you had another of the same worm to tie on again.

    Nice!!!!
  6. I got an '03 F-350. Nothing special just a work/fishing truck. On a side note wife drives a 94 vette and 09 lexus rx 350. I think I deserve an upgrade!
  7. I would do atleast a foot minimal. But there are a lot of variables. For example lure type, water clarity, cover etc. I've been using no leader for a lot more stuff especially topwaters, fast baits, and heavy cover fishing. A well tied knot usually isn't felt in the guides. Some people use 5ft+ in really clear waters.
  8. She's purdy!
  9. You could definately try a heavier hook depending on what you using now. I'm using an eagle claw lazer sharp hook 3/16 weight 5/0 twistlock. It does have to be pretty centered but off alittle it still runs true. I have it texas rigged and skin hooked.
  10. those things are definately realistic looking , love the colors to. Pretty sure i'll be placing an order in the near future.
  11. I just started throwing them the past year or two. I have tried a few different kinds. Luck e strike bass magic and stike king shadilicious. I use them on a 3/16oz 5/0 swimbait hook. They both swim very true and have good tail action. I'm curious as to what everyone else is using (bait,weight/hook,line)?
  12. Somethings never change I FAILED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > :-/ :-?
  13. I've never really thrown any type of grub. The closest to it was the small ika and i caught everything in the water pickerel, bluegill, crappie. It was alittle discourage and thats why i think i never tried any type of grub but maybe next year i'll add the to the bag.
  14. Sweet keychains!!!
  15. I've been using Berkley Fireline in moss color And love it. Its very responsive, strong and also nice and limp any backlashes are minimal and easy to pick out. I also haven't had any problems with the dye running.
  16. Wow. Haven't seen anything like that before. Hope all is well but if your posting I'm assuming ALL GOOD.
  17. You should also wet your knots before you cinch them down the friction can weaken the line.
  18. I would have to say its the knot. I use the polamar for everything never had a problem. And with 50lb braid I can't imagine its the line unless its defective. The only other thing I can think of is braid isn't very abrassion resistant so maybe that's your problem depending on what your fishing it in.
  19. I definately agree kids are getting out of control. Some of the stuff I see them doing is just unreal. And the way they talk. I have a few younger kids (-10) in my family and they swear like its there job. When I was there age I was afraid to use words like d**n there coming out with words I wouldn't use around my parents now and I'm 28. Kids need to be kept at a short leash or else they head on a donward spiral.
  20. Mens softball (excuse to drink mass quantities of beer and act stupid), Golf, Gambling, video games.

Space monkey and starting to like Owners yuki bug.
  22. Throwing pink seems to be one of those things you do on heavy pressured waters. I got some pick zeros and that's when I bring them out. Its just something different that I think gets the fish going.
  23. The Jets offense looked awful. Ray Lewis is still a beast on the field.
