  1. X2 rage craw, curly tail worms those little pain in the a**es peck them all
  2. Nice. Chigger craw is my 2nd favorite. 1 is the rage craw. You guys must be having a blast with this. I know I would be.
  3. Thanks for the sincere response. I have already contacted my insurance comp now I will find a lawyer. Like I said I don't deserve to get away with anything I just don't want to get raked over the coals either.
  4. I'm not from NY I was just trying to understand what may or may not apply in comparison to RI traffic laws. P.S. I'm on vaca I looked for about 30 min I'm not gonna sit in front of a computer on my trip.
  5. Didn't say the ticket wasn't deserved. I was wondering if NY has a good driver statue. But I appreciate your intelligent input.
  6. Glad I wasn't there. I haven't had a tic in like 6 yrs. In RI that gets you a pass on your next tic but it starts from zero. Hence the good driver statue.
  7. I am driving through NY on vaca and got pulled over for 25 over limit. My questions are is there a good drivers statue in NY? And also how does the point system thing work. I was trying to research how to approach the tic but didn't get far. Also how much is this tic gonna approximately run me. Any help is greatly appreciated
  8. I throw them on a spot remover and smallies and large mouth both like them. I also use the gulp ones with similar sucess.

I am using 50lb braid a 7'6" dobyns champion flippin stick and a revo stx 7.1:1. I was fishing relatively thick cover hence the power gear. The other thing I was thinking is maybe with everything being so stiff (rod n line) I might have to wait a second longer before setting the hook.
  10. Cool looking baits. I would say durability on the frog is a definate concern. Couldn't tell what those legs were made of but there pretty thin.

Ya I figured it would have to be skin hooked. That's one thing that's nice with the hook slots you really don't have to skin hook.

It wasn't the floater and I have seen the double take hook my only concern is that I was bringing it threw some relatively heavy lilypads does the the double hooks get hung up more?
  13. Fished them the first time today with some good results. Nothing big but a lot of bites. Had a question though I was using a zoom frog hook 5/0 twistlock I probably had 25 strikes and landed about 10 is there anyway to increase hook-up ratio or is this what to expect.I waited a second before setting hook also. Thanks for any help.

Donkey rig is a double fluke set-up. I've never used it but it imitates schooling/feeding bait. Someone will elaborate on the how to rig.
  15. I was looking through my BPS catalog last nite. They have a double set-up but its two hardbaits. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was something like a crank then line trailing to a rat-l-trap. Again not sure on the hard baits. Looked interesting. Kind of like your own shad school.
  16. I'd say rage tail space monkey, smokin rooster, and GYCB kreature and flappin hog.

I ordered a package lastnight from tackle warehouse. I'll let you know how I use it and how I make out. And I can't wait to see how it does in the battle.
  18. Anyone try these out yet? Saw them on a show looked to have great action and that tail stands right up.
  19. Rat-l-trap sounds like it would produce well. It sounds like most of you guys prefer a loud bait. I watched a few night fishing shows and they were throwing 10in worms and dragging them. Any one have good success with this method.
  20. I was thinking about throwing a jig. I have a few with some pretty loud rattles I would imagine will work good a night.
  21. Going out tonight gonna use old reliable (the jitterbug) and Black buzzbait might try a crankbait or 2. Just wondering what everyone else likes? Maybe I can try some new stuff out.
  22. Ya I'm definitely excited to try a few different applications with it. I did use it early in the morning as a top water and it worked well there also. If the rest of the rage line performs as well as the monkey and craw all my other plastic may be going out at the next yard sale hahaha!
  23. First time out today with the Space monkey. I fished it on a 5/0 wide gap gammy hook and added a twistlock to the hook. I've fished the craws pretty frequently for the past month. Today they destroyed they monkey. Love the action also seemed to hold up a little better than the craw. Another great rage tail bait!
  24. I think you guys should each fish with both baits 1hr apiece then switch. This will prob help to take some of the human aspect out of it. Because then you'll have each bait fished by a different fisherman but the baits still would be head to head. Instead of one bait by one fisherman
  25. I've never used them but most people I know use them on a dropshot.
