  1. Well Greg summed it up pretty good. You never know what the level are going to be. For you guys that plan to go to Barkley you need to be extra careful if you don't know the lake it is dangerous. You can get Dave Stewart fishing report several places on difference forum. The next time I see Dave I will ask him to post the report here.
  2. You will make if I have to come and get you. You are not that far for me. Bud
  3. CJ I got phone service and internet back about 30 minutes ago. Still no power and still on generator but doing ok. Bud
  4. You guys who want to try shooters you will not be sorry. Great line but expensive.. It is all I use. Bud

  7. My fishing partner and I went out yesterday morning around 7:30 caught 9 with 4 keepers. Put in today at 11:00 and ended with 21 and 9 keepers with a 9 pound 13 oz hog as big fish. Water temp 59.8 with a south wind at 12 mph. All were caught on Strike Kings Sexy Shad in 3 to 5 foot deep
  8. Go ahead and get the Humminbird SI. You won't regreat it.
  9. dweller All of the river and Smithland pool are low Water. I don't fish the river much so I cannot help with a pattern report but on the Lake their is no pattern now. The fish are in a transition period and all over the place. The water temp is around 77 deg now
  10. flippincrazy When you do come down remember this lake is at winter pool and is extremely dangerous unless you know it. Some of the ramps are in bad shape to because of the low water and drop off at the end of the ramps. Be careful and good luck Bud
  11. flippincrazy This past weekend I had a small club tournament on Ky Lake. The fish are scattered all over the place. You will find a few on ledges and a few on points and a few in the back of the bays. I never found a good patteren nor did any of the other teams. The best I found was around secondary lake points using a texas rig lizard. You then have to catch a dozen small fish for one keeper. It is tuff fishing right now and I live on the lake. Good luck Bud
  12. Eddie Munster The porcupine Fish Attractor is a kit you purchase. It is a plastic PVC ball about the size of a basketball with about 30 holes in it. With the kit is about 30 piece of 1/2 inch PVC pipes about 24 inches long. You just glue the pipe into the holes tie on a anchor and you are ready to go. Look at this web site porcupinefishattrector.com
  13. Their is nothing to cut or drill with the Porcupine fish attractor. All you have to do is put it together with a little PVC glue and drop them. The good thing is they will last just about forgether and you don't get hung up on them. I have about 500 of them out in Ky lake. I have another 500 ready to be put in when TVA drops the lake level.
  14. Don't try it you will ruin the chip. They are copy protected. The cheapest way is to buy a older chip from someone.
  15. I just knew you would buy a Kistler ;D ;D ;D Bud
  16. I use it all the time but without a boat it would not be of any help.
  17. Don't try to copy the chips. You will ruin the chip. The best way is to go head and spend the $$ for a good up to date chip from Navonics that will work in your Eagle.
  18. CJ I fished the Tue nite tournament out of moore. The Elite guys was following everyone. Everyone is "hole stealing
  19. I have a 997 on the console and a 97 on the TM with the interlink. If you like to fish structure they are the way to go.
  20. I don't think it will work. They use difference format for their data. It is a lot more that difference cable ends.
  21. Try the Falcon you will like it. It is not a Loomis but a good rod
  22. Surfer Before you buy a Humminbird SI drop me a noite. I may be able to save you some money on one. That also go for any one else. Bud

RW Next year at the get together I am going to show you that their is fish in Ky lake. Every time you come up something screw up the trip. That time frame should be just right. Bud ;D ;D
