Randy caught most of his fish on the riprap in Spring Creek. When we were there for the BassResource Roadtrip in 2012, we fished spring creek with limited success, maybe three fish, but we NEVER fished the riprap and the bridge pilings that day! Doh! Later in the week ChrisatTech and I were going under the bridge at saulty creek (way north) and my Humminbird 1198 LIT UP with fish. We stopped and and caught a few, only because we didn't want to move in on another boat that had the "garden spot". We watched them pull in around two dozen bass in about a half hour! Now I was on to a pattern! When the dam was pulling water it creates current and the bass stacked up at the bridges! Using that pattern I caught several the next day at another bridge (I forget the name of the creek, it is the first creek northwest of the dam). It was there we broke several crankbaits trying to sidearm cast under the low bridge! Easily our best day of the Guntersville Roadtrip!

Put it on LIVE TV!!! C'mon Bassmaster and ESPN! Why can't you make this happen? The entire non-professional fishing community is screaming to watch this event LIVE on TV. Are there Congressmen on your board of directors?

Yeah, man muffs might be a little "metro" for me. I have a set of "beans" ear buds. They're made of very soft rubber and they are very comfortable. they conform to the shape of your ear. Might be worth a try.

We got that storm a few hours after you did but didn't have nearly the damage. It whipped us up pretty good though. I'm a lineman for the electric company here and we worked from Sunday afternoon until Thursday at 6pm. It sure was an odd storm for November. Glad to hear that you're ok!

I'm with slonezp on this one. I have both cards and I prefer the detail of the Lakemaster HD over the navionics for my lakes. I like Lakemasters depth shading better. I also like the fact that it can be used to control my Minn Kota with iPilot link. Lakemaster has just released Auto Chart mapping which gives you the ability to record your own soundings and input them into the software and create your own lake maps. I'm seriously looking into getting that soon.

I spent $100 on a Kobe Ribeye steak at the Chicago Chophouse one time. Although I'm not averse to dropping a few bennies on a good meal, the whole Kobe beef thing is overrated IMO. I've had better steaks for a third the price.

Another vote for sunglasses. Bright sun for too long equals a guaranteed headache for me. I think ibuprofen is a must for me. I don't need it very often but when I do, and I don't have it, that headache shuts me down. Game over.

Out on Table Rock today shaking out my electronics. Installed the ferrite bead in the TM. Discovered that I have a serious vibration in the TM. I still have the interference problem. It's pretty clear now that the TM needs servicing. I swear this lake is where Humminbird made their recordings for the simulator mode on my 1198. I got some great screenshots of underwater cover and structure. They look just like the simulator mode. I hope to get some time to post some of them for everyone to see. Man I wish I lived here. This lake is cool.
