Kentucky Lake
I think you'll do good staying shallow. I think you'll see bass on bed and some leaving bed, and some still waiting to go on bed. Caught some decent keepers sunday, in 8 ft of water.

First Trip to Lake Fork
Got back this past weekend for 3 day trip to Fork. Started off a little slow, but caught the biggest Bass of my life. A 25.5" 9 lb. beauty. Cuaght several 4-6 lb fish. To my surprise, caught more quality fish than small fish. I was also surprised at not catching numbers of bass(small). I caught maybe 15 or so, but only 4 was below 2-3 lbs. Most was 4-6lbs. That 9lb was memorable, fight to landing without net.

Guide question for braids
Are all guides used for 100.00 and up rods good for using braids now? Or, is there still some guides that should be avoided for use with braids?

St Croix Mojo rod
I have a m/h fast mojo, and am quite happy with it. for the money i believe the mojos are good rods. in that price range the others i'd consider is the bucco, and lamiglass excel (which I'd like to find locally to fiddle with).

Women and Bass Tournaments (B.A.S.S. specifically)
Deb, Maybe sometime I'll bump into you at Ky, if your still in that "ole javelin". I'd have no problem taking some tips from a girl in the know. I too don't know why it's a big deal too be outfished by woman, gender makes no difference in fishing. Although out of fun, no guy wants to be told by his wife/girlfriend "you got beat by a girl". ;D

Does anybody use the Trokars?
I am using some woom hooks now. They do work really well. I've had no issues with them so far. But, I have not had one tied on long enough to say much about durability. My invisX has broke or knot untied (knot twice) and cost me 3 of those along with my tru-tungston weights before I could use one for long... >

BTS
Just started using it, so far I like it. Does shine the ole girl up real well (boat too). ;D

I know, think before ya ask....

Flippin/Pitchin power for rod??
Next question for ya'll. I'm undecided on the power of rod to get. I'm leaning toward MH, but wonder should I get a H power rod? I fish KY lake most, There is some really thick stuff but mostly I would say I I fish not so heavy cover(compared to some of what I've seen on shows) As for brands, I'm wanting to try a dobyns. I can get a fair deal on one.

Picking a reel for flippin/picthin
I'd say, since you have both. Use the e7 for pitchin, and the sx for cranks/spinnerbaits.

Picking a reel for flippin/picthin
Guys, Ive almost decided to get a curado e7, but since TW has those 09 sx's on sale I'm thinking about one of those now. Want some opions on which would be the better of the 2. If there aint much difference, I'll go with the sx for the price.

Swimmin' Grub
I use them on Ky lake in late winter/early spring when the water is below 60. They work nearly all the time, but I just like using other baits after the water warms. Last year, me and my had a few days in feb/mar that was 100-150 little ones per day. Lots of fun.

If ya call, will they sell and ship them???

Prop/shaft out of balance???
Got a question guys. Changed my prop out the other day. When I did, I spin it just to check everything out. I noticed it had a little wobble, just slight. I put the old prop back on and it was the same. Is just a little wobble ok, Or do I have a bearing going bad or maybe a bent shaft? Got the boat last year, and I have'nt hit anything.

st croix rods
I JUST upgraded my Spinning Mojo 7'M,f to a LegendTB 7'M,f (after the mojo snapped). The difference is awesome, I love that Legend T/B, incerease in sensitivity is substanstial. Great rod. Mojo is good for the price, but for a higher end rod, I love the Legend. Just got a cumara recently, but have'nt used it much yet to compare. So far though I'm really impressed with the Legend.
