I think Cabelas has an insulated gore tex guide suit on closeout right now. Check the website. $150 for each piece. You can also find the Stormr Stryker suit on sale now as well.

What's with Cabela's?
Just went there saturday to return some stuff. They had a decent selection of tackle. I was surprised at how many sale baits they had. Still overpriced compared to TW. Got a cool Huk shirt for 40% off though.

Glory Bags?
That's strange. I read some of the reviews on TW and guys were reporting getting the clips I referred to. Guess you have to buy it again hahaha.

Glory Bags?
I got my father this scale Dec. of 2016: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_Touch_Screen_Tournament_Scale_15lb/descpage-RTDS.html The cull tags that come with it are junk, but the clips attached to the tags have worked pretty great. The funny thing is, they're actually not the same clips that are shown in the stock photo. The clips are simple, black, plastic clips. We took them off the stock tags and put them on the Ardent cull balls. I thought for sure they would be useless, but I was 100% wrong. They held onto many 4+ pound smallmouth with no issues.

Stormr Rain Gear
Thanks for the input guys. I've seen a lot of good reviews on their stuff. I'll probably take the plunge.

I must've missed that in the last post. I don't believe there was ever a 10 for $10 deal, it was 4 for $10 w/ the $10 rebate.

GANDER MOUNTAIN CLOSING
So far, their new website appears to be offering basically the same stuff...maybe even less. Other than a newish name and logo, I don't know if there will be much of a difference.

Stormr Rain Gear
Anybody have any experience with Stormr rain suits? I'm looking for a pair of bibs but since I don't get to fish quite as often as I used to, I don't wanna throw down the cash to get the match to my Simms Prodry jacket. I'm specifically looking at the Fusion and Aero models. Thanks!

That deal killed me. I had $40 in rebates come back to me but forgot to cash them! Now they're void.

Fishing fathers
Fishing runs deep in my family. My grandfather got my dad into it. My dad got me into it. And now, my sister and brother in law are in to it. I hope my future spawn have the same obsession with it that I do.

Uses for new St.Croix AvidX 7’-4” MH?
Is one Ex-fast vs. Fast? That could be why I guess. I honestly pay zero attention to lure rating haha.

Uses for new St.Croix AvidX 7’-4” MH?
Personally, I would use 1/2oz jigs in 8 - 12 fow with the heavy. I prefer heavy rods while jig fishing though and rarely use any under 1/2 oz. I have no doubt the medium heavy would be just fine.

Uses for new St.Croix AvidX 7’-4” MH?
It would work for that since Croixs are a tad bit on the stiffer side. I actually use the Avidx 7'4 H for the same baits up in NY for smallmouth. I like the extra power since I'm usually fishing that technique in deeper water (like 15 to 25 ft). I tried a few different medium heavy rods and just couldn't get solid enough hooksets. I primarily use Dirty Jigs Pivot heads which have a gamy superline hook, that's probably why.
