  1. As always, a lot of good stuff on sale at Midway. There are a couple of these Under Armour Shorman jackets left at 50% off: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1025330733?pid=102477 I picked one up earlier this year. It’s the lightest, most comfortable summertime, Gore Tex rain jacket I’ve seen so far.
  2. Bagley baits and Evolution Outdoors are running 50% off site wide. https://evolutionoutdoor.com/ https://www.bagleybait.com/
  3. Although I knew who he was, this was the first Milliken video I watched. Which led me to a couple others. Gotta say I’m not a fan. I can give props to these guys who put out a bunch of content because I know it isn’t easy…but he ain’t someone I’d care to converse with or fish near.
  4. 4 late summer and 3 black friday orders. Nothing I needed but can't say no to cheap Rage craws and Demons. I don't normally spend my cash at BPS but this is the nicest backpack style bag I've found (needed something for the plane). I also picked up another Diawa Ardito travel rod and a dozen neoprene Rod Gloves. I might be done with fishing purchases this year but we'll see;)
  5. I started messing around with Blades 2 years ago for cold water smallies. I picked up some Cabelas Mean Eyes since they seemed to be the cheapest/most decent looking ones I could find ($3.49). They actually work really well. They’re now a buck more:( I recent picked up a ton of Spro Carbon Blades on close out and used them a bit over Thanksgiving. They have a much wider wobble than the Mean Eyes. They’re good but no way in heck I’d ever pay full retail (50-60% off and we’ll talk). The only other 2 I’ve tried were the BPS Laser and Rapala V rap. BPS was fine. The Rapala was different. Very slow fall compared to traditional styles.
  6. Already made 2 orders in 24hrs haha. They keep adding stuff! 300+ items yesterday, 500+ today!
  7. I picked up the 7'4MH St Croix Legend Glass a couple years ago and tried it for bladed jigs. It wasn't great so I picked up the 7'2 H and it's money! I put a lot of fish in the boat with that thing during the spring.
  8. I put in quite a few hours flipping northern NY grass with a 3/4 oz jig on my 7'4 H MF Poison Adrena. Absolute pleasure! Can't believe how light those things are. I started with a Chronarch CI4 but switched to a Bantam and liked it much better.
  9. I almost never use them. In fact, this year marked the first time I’ve ever thrown an actual Yamamoto…all of 3 casts haha.
  10. I run 15-20 combos but constantly switch things around. It’s a horrible habit. I overthink everything, all the time. I also can’t pair certain things based on price haha. That adds to the confusion and complexity. The lesson here…don’t take any advice from me!
  11. My dad and I have been SC users for a long time, Premiers-Legend Xtremes. I’ve had some failures but I’ve also put these rods through the paces. SC’s customer service has always taken care of me. Ive branched out to different manufacturers over the years but always find my way back, mainly bc of their warranty.
  12. The choppo is louder. I prefer the plopper.

Geez, I thought the Conquests were bad….$900 for a rod…ouch Shimano.
  14. Fantastic! Appreciate it my friend!
  15. Does anyone know if you can put the terminal inserts from a 3700 terminal box into a regular 3600 or do I need to just get the 3600 terminal?
  16. I wasn’t necessarily taking just about Cayuga but any lake in the country. Talking strictly about Cayuga, yes, a few guys can do that at almost anytime of the year if they know the lake well enough. Same with Ontario and The River. However, I don’t recall ever seeing smallmouth like that in any of the other pro tournaments (or any other) held on Cayuga that have taken place well after the spawn. Plenty of 20+lb bags out there but they’re almost all green fish.
  17. I didn't hear anything stupid from that "hot take." Everything he said is 100% true. Fishing 75% of the season during the biggest spawn windows is crap for conservation and a real garbage look to the public. Yeah I get it's the only time these guys can catch big fish and big fish draw crowds but it's still lamer than lame.
  18. The fact the NYS allowed this is an absolute joke. Even during the C&R season, DEC aggressively urges catch and IMMEDIATE release. Obviously, any angler catching bass during this time of year will be getting weights and pictures but the fact that the state allowed the biggest tournament trail to do this publicly is really bad press. If DEC knew anything about spawing bass they'd know how easy smallmouth are to catch off their beds and should have known that these clowns would be catching the same fish over and over. Talk about protecting the resource. I get it, $$$ talks. I was already ticked off by MLF, now I'm officially done. Great job Boyd and friends!
  19. Monkey took a decent chunk outta my wallet between Memorial Day and by b-day a couple weeks ago... Actually got 2 of those 7'4 heavy Poison Adrenas...
  20. If you have an Academy nearby, they have Perception Outlaw Kayaks for $549 with a $100 rebate. Thought that was quite the deal!
  21. Got mine too and it was perfect. Tags and everything!
  22. This is a must BR! Just scored Trilene 100% fluoro for $3.75-$5 a spool and Trilene XT mono for $1 a spool!
  23. Always gonna run into gray area when you let competitors run 100s of miles away from tournament take off (Sabine and Houston, Pee Dee river, St. Lawrence/Ontario, St Claire/Erie, etc.). Stop that and you might prevent guys from trying to alter/change boats and/or jumping roads and dams. Seems pretty simple to me.
  24. The regular 65 in Killer Gill is my favorite frog.
  25. Where’d the jacket come from?? And how’s the sizing?? I’m guessing it’s probably smaller than most American brand clothes.
