I have had countless friends and family lost to suicide. My childhood sweetheart and later exwife took her own life after trying countless times..we all knew what was gonna happen but you cant be with someone 100%of the time. My current wifes father just a couple years ago, 61 years old..no warning, just found him one morning. My best friend thru the teen and early 20s..never a warning, and I would have known, we were like brothers. Sometimes there are signs but many times there are not.
