So I have to ask this, why am I struggling with the latest iPhone update? Please tell me it’s just not me!

My situation is a little different, bog buddy. My parents have a house and a rental home a block away from my home in Maine. They are in the mid-80s and are in declining health. The thought of bringing my gear down to the beach and rowing out to the mooring - fish - back to the mooring - dinghy dragged to the dunes - gear back to the house is a chore. I’ve got caught a couple of time where they came up for the weekend and I rushed back to the house to get them situated. I don’t get my gear until after dinner time. Honesty, by that time I’m really tired . But I’m fortunate enough that they’re still around.

Workout. Cook. I would say mostly Italian comfort food for family. I’m the only one who likes seafood so def like exploring new preps for seafood. During early spring and late fall I have 5 houses between mine and my parents and I can spend hours just doing repairs. It’s not like work, it’s at my pace for whatever the pace is that day. No hurry to get it done. It’s eventually gets done. @Bass Rutten I wish I had the patience for chess. About the only board game I really enjoyed was backgammon. I played that with my daughter. Probably the reason I enjoyed it so much. She was a tough player

You know, I always switch out spinnerbait blades from silver to gold or painted thinking that the glare was too much but I never thought about this approach. This is interesting for me. Sitting back now, waiting for the thoughts to come in.

Rod socks and reel covers to the boat and when not in use, otherwise they get leaned up against a seat on the way to the spot(s) or back to the mooring. Rod socks and reel covers go back on. Then off again for a rinse down with a garden hose, towel wipe, blow dry with 18v leaf blower. Rod socks and reel covers back on for storage.
