^This is the exact same rule I follow. Elaztech doesn't work and Berkley is a pain to try to melt. I'm just trying to get a few extra miles out of my baits so salt content and such isn't a big issue. A lot of my repours are baits I use at ponds and dink factory lakes that they'll eat whatever you throw at them. I do have a separate bin of just Rage baits that I use to make some of my nicer repours.

I hope you mean this weekend as in today and tomorrow and not next week. Spinnerbaits and buzzbait around the docks and a wacky rig can be good too. Spooks tend to catch quite a few spotted bass.

I have 2 5 gallon buckets of used plastics that are both about half full, one is natural colors, the other is dark colors like black and blue and junebug. I melt them down and repour during the winter.

A guy can buy preformed wood blanks and paint them himself, as well as a wide array of lip sizes and styles. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what you have.

Whatever size you put on, just go one size smaller and see if it suspends again. No bait is going to suspend in all water temps due to water density and other variables anyways.

Table Rock can beat anyone on any day. I had a trip there a few years ago I worked hard for 8 hours to catch 4 fish, 1 was 20", the other 3 wouldn't have totaled 20" if they'd been laid nose to tail. It's still one of my favorite lakes to fish though and the scenery is fantastic.

I'd echo what J said that 15 is the best all around size for me. I have not had any issues with breaking or abrasion, it's been incredibly strong and difficult to break when it does get snag and I can't get it lose (SDJ knot). I've gotten several fish out of places I had no business getting them out of with 15lb line as well.

Pretty partial to the Red Eye Shad 2 Tap and the Xcaliber XRK50 (now the Booyah Hard Knocker). Another one that I started messing with last year that I think has a lot of potential is the Storm Arashi Vibe. Doesn't have as an aggressive of vibration or sound, but the fish really seemed to like it.

Yes, the top 6 were from one day and the bottom 3 from another, both in different videos I posted. Time will tell but I'm not a very good crankbait fisherman by any means and I was able to catch fish on them, so take that for what it's worth.

You can fish it a bit like Table Rock, but it's a fickle lake for sure. If we have a good cold snap, I wouldn't rule out an A-rig. I prefer the area around Prairie Creek but that's a long haul from the dam.

Not hard to find though, and usually well under the OP's price.

Too light for realistic bass fishing presentations, sure, but ultralight is a blast for panfish, trout, and other species. I have a St. Croix Avid rated 1-4lb test and I wouldn't go past that, 1/16oz is a heavy bait on it. A big bluegill is a knock dow , drag out fight, it's a lot of fun.

A very basic rundown of how I begin my selection; Painted blades-cloudy or dirty water copper blades-muddy, tannic, or lowlight conditions gold blades- sunny and stained to dirty water silver- sunny and clear to moderate stained water Colorado blades-dirty water or cold water Indiana blades-stained water Willowleaf-clear water, fast retrieves, or for fishing deeper Tons of variables that will make me adjust these accordingly, but this is how I begin the process.

I carried a .40 Glock at my last department but my current department issues us 9mm Glocks and we don't have an option for on duty carry. Off duty we are allowed to choose though. The M&P Shield is a really popular sidearm with the guys here for off duty. I really like my .40 Glock (Glock 22 was what I decided to buy when I worked there). I shoot better with it, although I shoot well with both, plus it has better stopping power.
