  1. I use the Fury 795 for them with the Flashy Swimmer.
  2. Original post was nearly 5 years ago. Hopefully he settled on some baits by now
  3. I have the newer version and all I throw with it are treble hooked baits.
  4. If you can catch fish on these baits, you can catch fish anywhere 365 days a year.
  5. Welcome!
  6. Looks like a Huddlebug by Huddleston? Took a day off from work yesterday and made a long drive back home to see family and got a picture of 4 generations of Westgate men.

I'm not broke, but have bought nothing today, just like normal. My wife bought enough for both of us though.
  8. You can have Smith, today if you'd like

  10. @A-Jay caught this cool screen grab from my last video. Almost looks shopped.
  11. I prefer to buy from stores and you can find some great deals doing so, but individuals with high ratings and lots of sales are solid options too. I buy almost all my reels off Ebay anymore because they can always be found for so much cheaper than in stores.
  12. There should be a dial or switch somewhere that you can turn to keep the water in. My boat has one that has Auto/Empty/Recirculate options for the livewell, it's down next to the driver's side seat by the throttle. If I leave it on empty, it will slowly fill up while I'm fishing to even with the water level outside the boat because it's coming in the drain at the back of the boat by the drain plug.
  13. That's a stud!
  14. Trade you. Someone else can carry this size 8 melon around for awhile and maybe my neck won't hurt so bad.
  15. Sad news, condolences to his family.
  16. 6' 10" ML/XF (drop shot), LTB would be my choice. I have that rod and it's a great rod for finesse fishing.
  17. End list The popping Pad Crasher is my favorite frog and has been for a few years. The Savage Gear frog and popping frog (lily walker I think?), are the most durable frogs I've fished and have been really effective for me as well. Durability is nice, but I'm okay with a frog getting torn after catching several fish on it, because that means it's getting bit!
  18. Bass Cat was sold not that long ago as well, but not to BPS. Can't remember the details though.
  19. I use the Lil' Nasty in a #2 size almost exclusively and it works very well. I'm pouring the 1/16oz a vast majority of the time.
  20. This is the same rationale I have for the follow up bait. Injured baitfish often flutter to the bottom while convulsing slightly, looks a lot like a sinking fluke or Senko. At times, throwing the same bait they missed back at them will work well too. The bad thing is, the only way to tell which works in each case is to try it and hope you make the right choice.
  21. The stack is going. The water hasn't been as warm since they built the new stack.
  22. Lake Shawnee but SMP has actually been fishing pretty good the last couple years.
  23. Depending on the day of the week but usually 4-6 hours between 10am and 6pm. Sunday-Tuesday are my days off so that's when I go.
  24. Not usually. It's been a jig on laydowns that's been producing those shallow fish for me.
