Baitcasting Gear For Crappie Fishing?
9' of water under that pile with holed barely big enough to pull a crappie back through and those trees behind it are out to 35-40' of water, I'd love to see someone longpole that stuff

Sunline Assassin Fc Line
Got any of that "Seajunk" left? You can send it all to me and I'll dispose of it properly. I use Red Label and InvisX a lot and find it to be some of the best bargain fluorocarbon out there. Sunline Super is another good lower end line. I had much better results with fluoro once I switched to a SDJ knot also.

Lure Identification..
The Rapala is a Risto Rap, probably a RR8 or RR9 it looks like. Should run in the 12-15' range.

Baitcasting Gear For Crappie Fishing?
Don't try to catch them on 6lb around here. Better have braid and even the small ones you have to move quick.

Ranking The Panfish
If you throw in the Cichlids then there's no comparison. I only got to catch a dozen or so of them while we were in Florida but they make a bluegill seem like a lightweight in the pulling department.

12# Flourocarbon
Braid is your best option if you want to go heavier with spinning gear. I didn't think I'd like it but now almost all my spinning rods have braid on them.

Okuma Cerros Or Lews Lfs?
I've been pretty impressed with the Cerros. I used it for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits for awhile, then switched over to punching with it. It's been easy to fish with and very comfortable. I caught one of my biggest bass I've ever caught from a local lake with it last week.

Shark Week!
I was trying to watch it last night but my son wanted to watch his show so we compromised and watched Umizoomie. It's not all bad though, the dance he does with that show kills me.

My Goal Is To Catch A Teener.
No teeners here, not bass anyways. However, I feel like my days of wanting to go out and catch as many bass as possible regardless of size, are over. Now I pretty much ignore lakes with little to no big fish potential.

Lure Identification..
First one is a Norman's, looks like a DD14 to me. Second one is either a Bagley's or a Poe I believe. I don't know the models of either of their lineups so can't help there.

12# Flourocarbon
Agreed that 12# is probably going to cause you a lot of heartache on a spinning reel.

Milford Lake, Ks
Do some research on the Ned Rig. Spooks and spinnerbaits work well early, late, if it's overcast, or if it's choppy. Shakyheads and cranks work also but be prepared to deal with the headache known as the zebra mussel with anything that touches the bottom. The dam and anywhere on the lower end of the lake with rocks near the main lake should be holding smallmouth. The largemouth tend to stick to the pockets and northern end of the lake where there is a little more cover. Most of the spotted bass I've caught out there have been from around the marinas but the marina owners tend to feel like they own the water under the docks so be ready for that if you decide to go that route.

Hilton Head Island- Palmetto Dunes
I don't know, I think this video pretty much would keep me out of a kayak around gators. They may "usually" leave you alone, but it only takes once.

Any Reports From The North Myrtle Beach Sc Area?
Bassresource does not condone ANY illegal activity, trespassing included. They're just fish, getting a fine or even arrested for trespassing isn't worth trying to catch a couple bass. Call the clubhouse and ask to save everyone the hassle. Plus if it's a course that allows fishing at certain times and you try to sneak out there and get caught they might pull access from everyone that is following the rules.

Snaged Bass
Don't be upset about it. Fish get stuck in all kinds of places all the time and survive just fine. Sounds like they liked your bait but maybe wanted a different color or little different profile or retrieve.

Pop Max Colors
You might take a look at the River2sea Bubble Walker, the smaller size. I can't tell the difference between them and my Pop Max except they're almost half the price.

Biggest Bass Caught On Public Waters In Kansas
Good deal. Sorry to take it so literal but there's a lot of folks out there that see no problem with moving fish from one body of water to the next. I'm sure we'll have zebra mussels in every lake in the state before too long anyways but no reason to speed the process up for them. To the OP, if you haven't checked out the KDWPT's website and looked at the fishing forecast you may want to do that. It gives you a good idea where to start looking for big bass. The lunker rating and biggest fish sampled is about the only thing I pay attention to but it's helped me find some of my favorite lakes.

Will Bass Hang Around And Under Thickly Matted Salvinia
I haven't found a mat of weeds that fish won't hide under yet.

Deep? Carolina Gear
7' 3" MH/MF LTB 200E7 50lb braid to a 12-15lb fluoro leader 1/2-1oz brass weight with 1 glass bead and 1 clicker I hate C-rigging though so if you see me fishing it I've basically given up on catching fish that day.

What's The Deepest You've Consistently Caught Smallies ?
Ours don't ever seem to get much deeper than 20' and are consistently in less than 10' even during the heat of the summer.
