Thanks I caught 2 outa that wood pile 2nd was a little smaller also on the ragecraw watermelon red. I had one on that woulda dinked that one in the pic but I lost it I was digging out a small rats nest when it took off and I watched my line go under some trees boil over a log and into some brush befor I got the slack outa my line and faught it for about 10 sec tring to get it outa that mess she ended up spitting the hook and I pulled out a craw balled up on my hook I coulda cried. It was in a spot we had one on last week that spit a rattle trap and a 12" pike half eaten right at the side of the canoe. I'll get her befor winter.

I went in and only seen signs for 20% off everything in stock so I asked bout the 50% off clearance items so they rang up the tungsten and confirmed it so I bought them and the citica. How often do you use beads? I threw a tungsten force bead under a tungsten 1/4oz weight yesterday and I think it made all the diffrence I could hear it clicking on the bottom in 10fow and I think it contributed to a lot of my bites because I had the same craw on a diffrent pole with no bead and didn't get bit at all with it. So do you use beads often ansd if so do u use glass,tungsten, or plastic?

Me and my nephew went out yesterday and the bite was slowwwwwww. We were in a fishy looking spot every 10 ft along the bank was huge laydowns in about 8fow. My nephew was getting mad making casts striking out well I was tieing my secrete weapon on. He kept saying "idk why I'm not getting bit I know there's bass here" I said its cuz they haven't been introduced to Steve(big o) made a perfict pitch into the tree and said "hey ryan look" as I set to hook into a nice chunky girl. So I got a killer deal on a citica at dicks I picked it up for 44.99 brand new. I spooled it with some 17lb flouro threw a 1/4oz tungsten weight a 6mm force bead then a 4/0 worm hook and a rage craw in watermelon red. It was also on a POS tec spec that the tip broke off of years ago. Well I went out to our secrete pond and was fliping with it and omg soooooooo nice caught a few(5) one big gal bout 5lbs the rest were 2s and 3s. I picked up the revo on veritas and threw a jig a little bit just to put it down and throw the citica for the rest of the day. So now I'm gonna try to run back to dicks and see if the sales still going on because curados e5 and 7 were on sale for $60

I used to have 2 one was a 46gal bow front that had a gar pike and 2 oscars. The 2nd tank was a 75gal that had a lmb in it my wife and son named bassy. I got rid of both tanks kinda regrete it but don't at the same time there cool and a PITA at the same time especialy oscars there messy. I got a killer deal when I sold them though I got 400 for the bow front I paid 150 and the 75 I paid 200 for and traded for a brand new remington 1100 20ga.

Yeah it left a orange haze on mine its almost gone it also stained my line as well I used it once and hated it cut it and put lead on there but now iv switched to tungsten sense iv found it on sale

I was spooling my new citica last night and was looking threw my box of half spools and found some line hoping it was enough. Well I don't think it was I only got half a spool on the citica. My question is do you guys mark how much line u took off the spool the first time so u know later if there's enough to spool another reel or just use it for leaders or backing. I had an idea that if when company's put lines on the spool the spool was molded or marked with lines for every like 50yards so you can simply look and say oh this ones got 100yds left or 50 or what ever.

There steel and I find them to be the least sensative thing iv thrown plus they rust I have a orange rust stain on my purty white veritas. Well u were at dicks you shoulda looked at the tru tungsten lineup there on sale here for 3.97 plus an additional 50% off that price because they ended with a .97 I stocked up on 3/8 1/8 1/4 weights last night at 1.96 a pack noot to mention the citica I nabbed for 44.96

Id get one over 7' mh spinning or casting to give u more leverage and power to horse them out of the nasty stuff the st croix should be good though with braid if u decide to go that route.

I set it up like you showed hopfuly I can go test it out soon I gotta decide what I'm gonna use it for and what rod its going on. I have a tec spec laying around with the tip snaped off and then a covergance also. I'm thinking the tec spec because its 6'8 with the tip broke so fix the tip spool with some 12lb flouro and use it for trigged worms and other plastics.

How well do they hold up to tears and such from re rigging after gitting bit? All the soft swimbaits iv thrown don't last long it seems.

I'm gonna be the odd one and say no I never have I always just clip it on and fish. I usually have a a duo lock snap tied on and I just fish the fluke with that no swivel sure it barrel rolls from time to time but my line doesn't twist bad and I slaughter fish on it. Maybe its because I use BC gear idk but I don't get line twist and I catch tons on it.

A cat would work beter especially if there in heat. House cat on the JS works best around here for me. But I wouldent worry to much bout yotes idk if they eat a lot of squirrels simply because they climb trees coyotes don't.
